“Fabulous”

The show is a must see. Its really very good and for what it really is it's very cheap, i've alredy paid much more for shows that are very poor compared to this one. The place where the show takes place is also very beutifull. If you go to Cairo don't miss this show all of our group liked this show much more then the sound and light show in the Piramids not mentioning the difference of prices of both shows.

I couldn't believe this amazing ensemble was only 30 egyptian pounds!!!
The show was amazing, the artist were great.
My only complaint is people did not stop talking, but otherwise this was an unforgetable experience.

“Mesmerizing =)”

When I was searching for things to do in Cairo, I found this as the number one 'Thing to do' I could not 100% believe the high ratings but since I trust my trip advisor I had to have some faith. So, my husband and I while visiting Cairo decided to visit Al-Tannoura show which was an amazing idea..it is located in the Hussein-Azhar-Khan El Khalili area which is so old and mighty beautiful, takes you back in time beautifully. you can walk to all the places that I just mentioned so you can make it a one-day trip if you would like to see the entire area.

We could not find the place right away but the locals were nice and showed us where to go just say "Wekalet El-Ghouri" meaning El-Ghouri Agency; tickets at the door Egyptians for LE 3, None Egyptians for LE 30 (which is not much either), make sure to get there by 7:00 pm so you can get a good seat.

Bathrooms are clean "this is a must for me"

The show itself is amazing, beautiful music, mesmerizing, the musicians/dancers are using traditional Egyptian musical instruments, you will not understand a word of their reciting (unless your mother tongue is Arabic) and they dance gracefully...you could feel their spiritual connection with God .

The Musicians are self taught, they themselves are part of the entertainment with their solo play and they very pleasant presence, they make you laugh alot ..which is awesome..the main dancer who twirils as a dervish is amazing he does so for about 45 minutes non-stop...this is the connection to god that I was talking about...you feel that his soul has left his body long ago...ok I let you judge it for yourself.

I recommend this show for everyone even with kids (unless you know your child would not be quiet).
