I stayed at this Hostel in March of 2012 with my friend. We are both 23 year old American girls. It was hands-down the best part of my trip to Egypt. The staff at this Hostel are fantastic. They instantly make you feel welcome and safe and pick you up at the airport. The room was great, clean and actually quite private. The staff takes excellent care of you, accompanying you wherever you would like to go. They arrange all the tours you could dream of and hire excellent tour guides. There was not a single dull moment during my time spent at this Hostel. Mohammed, Ahmed, Nour, and Mustafa are all incredibly friendly and wonderful people. The staff at this hostel make you feel very safe and comfortable and I would recommend this hostel to everyone of all ages.

We came here from Singapore and stayed here for our stay in Cairo. Loved the friendly staff who were enthusiastic abt arranging our tours. Did the giza pyramid tour with our main man Khalid the driver. Big shout out to mohamed, ahmed, his bro and noh.

Word of warning tho. Dun do the luxor tour. It's boring and ain't nothing to see here. Which is why I'm writing this review. It's that bad. Can we have our money back?

As mentioned in many other reviews, the staff at this hostel is incredible! We were picked up from the airport upon arrival and taken to the hostel which was a great bonus for us as we usually have to figure out the public transportation system to get to other hostels. When we got there, Nour and Muhammad gave us the kindest welcome. They had us laughing hysterically within the first hour we were there. We booked a trip to Giza with them which was very nice and allowed us to see three pyramid sites in one day; Giza, Saqqara, and Dahshur. They later booked a cruise to Luxor and Aswan for us and gave us a very fair price even compared to the major tour companies. While we were there, Nour went above and beyond to make our stay very special. He took us to the best restaurants in the area and always had suggestions for us of things to do. This is a hostel like no other. I felt like we built a friendship with Nour, Muhammad and Ahmed in the two weeks we were with them. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone out there wanting to visit Egypt.

Arriving after a very early bus from Dahab we were greeted when we got to the hostel by Ahmed, who helped us schedule our limited time in Cairo, seeing the pyramids (and opening our eyes to more than just the main spot in Giza people see them), a trip on the Nile, the Egyptian museum, suggestions of the Old City and assistance in organising transport to the airport; all according to our wishes and hopes for our stay.

The driver and guide Halid showed us the pyramids and the extended pyramids that are a little further away which was great.

The hostel was clean, friendly and had great wi-fi and a/c in the bedrooms. Great central location in an action packed street but you could not hear the noise of the street in the bedroom (with a delicious bakery on a close corner nearby). We would recommend to anyone wanting cheap and cheerful in Cairo.

Excellent hostel with some of the friendliest staff I've met on my travels here. Rooms are spacious, clean and with excellent air con. The staff make sure your needs are met and that standards are being met. Prices are also very reasonable for a hostel in the location that it is in.
