Picked us up from the airport, and took us to see the Pyramids, we had limited time and this was so convenient. the van was air-conditioned, he gave us mobile internet and stopped for food and water. he tailored the tour to suit us. He also gave us options on the tickets. Would definitely recommend him.

I met Khaled through this forum, TripAdvisor? The written comments about him seemed good, even tempting. I made contact, the rest is history!

He advised us, he tailored a program to suit us, it worked absolutely to plan, and we were delighted. Good transport provided, hotspot wifi provided, food & drinks provided: an excellent package

Khaled is a good communicator, a pleasant fellow, very caring & thoughtful. He deserves to succeed. Please use his services without hesitation. I would definitely use him for any future Egyptian trip.

I have now toured many sites in Cairo with Khaled on two separate trips to Cairo in 2011 and 2012. He is an outstanding guide with deep knowledge of the history of Egypt. It is easy to communicate with him prior to your arrival in Cairo; he will make itinerary suggestions if you are not sure how to structure your touring. On this trip, our group of five (family with young adults) visited Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur. On another trip, I visited the Giza pyramids, Islamic Cairo and the Egyptian Museum. His English is excellent and he provides detailed and interesting explanations (and he has an Ipad handy) of the sites and their relation to the history of Egypt. He is enthusiastic, has a good sense of humor and is very welcoming, providing drinks and snacks along the way or planning a meal if you would like. He picked us up at our hotel and we traveled in a very comfortable minivan. I have also recommended him to other family members, who have toured with him as well. They raved about their tour experience with him. He is an outstanding guide----I recommend him highly.

We have travelled a lot but we have never used a tour guide before so we were a little skeptical. We had read the reviews on Tripadvisor and contacted Khaled by email with our wishes for our Cairo vacation. From the very start Khaled was helpful and accomodating and fast to reply. We quickly had a plan in place and the price was resonable. We also had an offer from another tour operator and it was pretty much the same price. However, there was a risk of being part of a big group of people. With Khaled it was only us. What a luxury! We had some concerns about the situation in Cairo but Khaled reassured us that most of the city operated as usual. The demonstrations had been on the Tahrir square and the sights we were going to see were not there. We felt totally safe throughout our visit.

Khaled met us in the airport with an iPAD showing our name. This was immediately noticed by our two teenagers (15 and 17 years) who felt that this was a very promising start. The driver of the minivan was very skilled and we had a smooth ride to our hotel. Khaled accompanied us into the lobby to make sure that everything was OK with our booking. We had three fantastic days with Khaled. We could not have done this without you, Khaled.

Day 1: Sakkara, Memphis and the pyramids at Dashur. We went inside the red pyramid which was a pretty awesome experience. We were the only ones there. Khaled was extremely good at explaining things and making it interesting - also for the teenagers. His English is excellent. He also used the iPAD for extra information. Khaled took care of tickets and snacks and drinks and everything just worked out really well. We never felt rushed and Khaled answered all our questions with great patience and friendliness. He also gave us a restaurant tip and called the restaurant to make a reservation for us.

Day 2: Giza pyramids, camel ride, Sfinx and Egyptian museum. Again Khaled was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We also had a felucca ride scheduled but the sun wasn't out and Khaled suggested to wait until the next day to enjoy it more. Good choice.

Day 3: The citadel with the mosques, Coptic Cairo, the Ben Ezra synagogue, the Khan el-Khalili bazaar and felucca ride on the Nile. Khaled managed to find a good level of information to suit both parents and teenagers and had a very good sense of humour.

Thank you Khaled for a wonderful experience and for showing us all the best of Cairo.
