Description: Restaurant little swiss is a restaurant which offers typical high quality swiss food. On our menu you can find original swiss cheese fondue, raclette, and meat tablegrill and also other typical swiss dishes like Riz Casimir or Fillet Stroganoff. A highlight of our desserts is a chocolate fondue which is made of original swiss Toblerone chocolate. In our restaurant you can enjoy the swiss food in a cozy and nice atmosphere with a lot of swiss decoration. We're looking forward to your visit!

Celebrated my birthday in excellent atmosphere. Great cheese fondue, table grill and chocolate fondue! 1 fondue per 1 person (small portions). Good value for price.

I've been to this restaurant only once. The meat is very good and the fondue is superb. The place is very small (four or five tables) and basic. You need to book or you may not find a place. The restaurant is closed in the summer.

Little Swiss is an oddly charming and quirky little restaurant in Maadi Degla. The bovine-themed restaurant does one thing - cheese - and it does it well.

Diners are warmly greeted by friendly owner, Charlotte. Like the proprietress, everything is Little Swiss is from Switzerland.

The menu consists of a tiny house salad, fondue and raclette. Raclette is both a type of cheese and method for cooking and serving it. If you order the raclette, a small electric table-top grill with small pans is delivered to your table, in which to heat slices of raclette cheese, and accompanied by boiled potatoes and various charcuterie, which is also grilled at the table by the diner. Our kids love the interactive nature of the raclette.

The fondue comes in an enormous red pot along with a basket of bread cubes. The cheese is sublime. My only wish is that some vegetables would be offered for dipping as well.

Of course, when in Little Swiss, you must have chocolate, and we did. Chocolate fondue is available in dark and milk chocolate and served with orange-flavored sponge cake, mini-marshmallows, diced apples, grapes, bananas and melon. The chocolate was good quality, but a little on the thin side. Still, the messiness made it even more fun for the kids in our party.

At last, the cow cuckoo clock struck, bringing our meal to an end. But we return often for a fun, funky taste of Switzerland in the middle of Cairo.

Reservations are a must in this tiny 7-table restaurant. Bonus - Little Swiss serves beer.

My wife invited me for my birthday to Little Swiss, and it was an unforgettable experience. The place is small and cozy, run by a very nice Swiss lady. When she knew that it was my birthday, she offered me a bar of toblerone wrapped as a birthday gift :)
The food is very nice, we got cheese fondue, raclette and chocolate fondue, everything was excellent. The prices are high, but the value is very good in return. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

This tiny place in Maadi truly has swiss fondue. the owner is a swiss lady living in Cairo and she brings all the cheese and fondue mixes from Switzerland, you can have it made with wine or without depending on your preference. They only open 4 days a week, and i would recommend booking in advance since the place is tiny.
