Looking over the Nile on our first night in Egypt was a great way to start our visit to Cairo. Despite, or maybe because of the high security we felt very comfortable in the location and the team whether in reception, concierge or restaurant were professional and friendly. The Italian restaurant where we dined the night before flying out was of a very high standard and while we loved the Egyptian food throughout our trip having this as an option was great after 10 days. And great juices!

The room at this place was great! Clean and quiet. The staff was friendly. The spa was awful. Hot tub / jacuzzi was not warm, shower heads in rain shower are were broken and water shot out into center of room. If you want the sauna and steam room warm you should call ahead to get the staff to turn them on. The body products were in short supply and there is no where to sit down to get dressed after you take a shower. Overall the spa sucked.

My family of four spent two nights in Cairo at the Kempinski. The highlights of this hotel for us were the morning breakfasts which have something for everyone. The juices, as all are in Egypt it seems, were to die for. One of the waiters kept bringing local dishes spiced up so that we could experience them the right way. They catered to the girls and remembered their names. The pool upstairs is awesome and we swam even though the air outside was cool. The nighttime view can not be beat.

I have no complaints about this Kempinksi which I found to be friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: We had a city view, which was fine because it was so dark by the time we got home each night.

My wife and I stayed at the Kempinski Cairo for 2 nights. We are from the states and were not aware of Kempinski. Our experience was excellent and I hope they expand to the US. The staff welcomed us with a fresh mixed fruit smoothies and walked through everything in the room. The staff was always professional and friendly. We had a room facing the Nile which was beautiful at night. We found the room to be quiet, modern and very clean. The traffic in Cairo is pretty heavy, but the location of the hotel made it pretty easy to get to key sites and tourist areas. Overall, we felt this was an excellent value for a 5 star hotel and would recommend it.

Room Tip: Nile view at higher floor is highly recommended

we had booked a nile facing suite-while the room itself was fine the location was bad-one side faced a ugly building and the other the very noisy road-the double glazing does not dampen the traffic.
the breakfast was good-
