“Not nice service! Food and shows were good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2012

I took the boat ride down the Nile. It was approx 2 hours long. I was greeted rudely, seated rudely. When we asked to move to a table closer to the window we were told it was reserved. So after an hour and pushing off from shore there were still at least five empty tables. Later on in the evening after we finished eating and had gone outside to look around, we were told we could sit closer to the window. AFTER an hour , now its not reserved? Not sure what was going on. We appeared to be the only foreigners on the boat and i fear this is why we were treated poorly. Another issue, we were never brought any bread, however the EMPTY tables were given bread. When i asked the bread server to bring us bread from an empty table he turned and walked away and NEVER brought any bread. We finally had to take the bread ourselves. Drinks are not included, no soda, water or anything. It was an expensive meal. The food we received was good. the salad bar was also good in terms of qualtiy. There were some singers who did some karoke to English langauge songs, Abba, Lionel Ritchie, etc. Then a whirling dervish type dancer, followed by a belly dancer. She appeared to be the highlight of the evening to the peole on the boat. When you go outside to try and enjoy the cruise on the Nile, you will instead be met with loud boat horns from the boat you are on, followed by brightly lit "party: boats cruisng by blasting music. it was so distracting and obnixous. The party boats cut in from of your boat and then the boat beeps the horn at them, you cant stand too close to the front of the boat for this reason, and second reason is the front and back of the boat are blocked off. You are forced to stand on a small side area with no chairs and only about a ten feet wide area. If anyone wants to walk by you have to turn. Lucikly most did not venture outside. Even though the food was good, i dont think it was worth the time, money or rude serivce.

“Very good in everything”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2012 via mobile

This one of most recommend place to visit, open air oriantal restaurant is located on best ever area on Nile bank, so you enjoy the fabulous view, weather, boats in reivers .... etc
Value is very affordable you can smoke your great Shisha stuff with a cup of coffee no more than 10$ (in case there's no minimum charge which applied in weekends or holidays)
There you can meet Egyptian public people , tourism from different nationalities specially Arab .
The food menue is not bad with many varieties like BBQ, Lebanees dishes and western

“Terrible choice”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2012

We had a terrible experience. Dirty dishes, humid with no a/c and fixed windows so you do not enjoy the Nile neither the Cairo skylight, bad food(serve cold), poor service with a very bad attitude(making jokes in Arabic so we could not understand),and very expensive.

“Romantic Dinner within River Nile on a Moving Boat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2012

Looking for a Romantic Dinner within river Nile in a neat place enjoying the classical atmosphere of old Egyptian palace setup.
Then your destination is Nile maxim moving Boat. you will enjoy a well prepared menu with excellent quality and delicious taste. served while you are enjoying different shows (English pop & country songs,Oriental folklore show, Belly Dancer show).
Definitively i will go again. and i hope that the service crew be more cheerful and makes you feel like the only guest they have i can assure they are very professional but still looking for perfection).
