A group of friends and I checked out this Restaurant after reading the amazing reviews about it. All of us decided to check it out because Indian food would be our comfort food before our began our 2 weeks trip of Egypt. And it was well worth it!!!
The owner himself Mr. Oberoi attended to us and recommended the briyani. We tried the shrimp briyani, cheese naan, palak paneer, mushroom rogan ghosh and raita. The portions were good for sharing. The food was delicious to say the least. It was really the comfort food all of us needed, it did remind me of home a little. The decor and ambiance was rustic.
The restaurant is part of The Karvin Hotel. The hospitality was great. The hotel staff actually got us a taxi & negotiated for us after we were done with our meal.
The only complaint I had was that there was no separate section for smoking and that towards the end of our meal we had to leave because another customer was smoking and it was disturbing us.
