Abou El Sid has been around for many years. I remember going to the Zamalek branch when they first opened. The food is actually quite tasty, and they have a huge selection of appetizers and mains, along with desserts and drinks. You can also enjoy shisha (hooka) while you're at it, and grab a cold beer with food. Prices are a little over the edge, but you would pay for the quality of food and excellent service.

our visit was during Ramadan Iftar, the food was not good nor bad the taste too was average, we had apricot juice (amer el din) it was good, the desert was poor Om ali, what I really hate about the place was the shesha smelt & smoke covering the place with no ventilation whatsoever in a closed place had to eat and leave quickly.
