You begin your tour from El Nasr (victory) gate, which is one of the gates in the wall surronding old cairo. Just at the end of the gate you will find a grave of a man who had the dream of entering cairo but the guards of the gate didn't allow him, when at last they gave him permission, he died while crossing the gate. To the left after you pass the gate you will find El Hakem Beamr Ellah mosque, after a short walk in the cobble stone paved street you will go in a small street at your left to visit El Sehemy House, then returning to the main street you can visit Soliman Aga El Selehdar, El Akmar mosque, Al Soltan Barkook mosque, Ebn Kalawoon mosque, Al Soltan Al Kamel mosque, Al Soltan Negm El Deen Aioub mosque, El Ashraf Bersbay mosque, many of osmanly sabeels, and then you will smell a mix of spicies smells, is this is the market for spices. Complete your walk to pass through the jewelry area ( El Sagha), then complete your visit in Khan El Khalily and El Azhar, and don't miss setting in Feshawy cafe and have a glass of green tea.

My Favorite place in Egypt, all in one, a lot of old islamic monuments are located just in one street, walking a long the street you can find a lot of old mosques, sabils, houses and so on. Unfortunately the street is paved now and lacks its authentic atmosphere plus now full of cars you have to be always careful about, they in fact make the walk not that comfortable and relaxing as it was in the past when no cars can enter the street. But still worth the efforts.
