Nice location for the subway to the travelling place in Seoul.
Nice location for the night drink and restaurant.
After dinner, you can walk around Hongdae street for shopping and clubbing.
Clean room and quiet.
High wifi signal at the outside room (kitchen) but low signal in the room (Second floor, new building), we have to come outside to connect the internet.
We stayed one night there as we had an early flight at Incheon airport the following day. The walk to the Hongdik University subway station is less than 10 min and from there, you can take the airport rail to the airport.
The room is basic with an attached bathroom. Mr Hong was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and the room was not ready, so we just left our luggage with him and he helped us bring into the room while we were out.
It was a great location, with vibrant night activities. We didn't really enjoy the night lives this time round as we were out the whole day meeting up with friends.
Will definitely stay in this area again the next time.

They were the most friendly, accommodating and welcoming people we had the pleasure of meeting during our travels and I would recommend anyone looking for clean, comfortable, reasonably priced accommodation to pay them a visit.
Breakfast was included and we spent a couple of brilliant evenings drinking with the staff. They made our stay in Hongdae (the best area in Seoul) really special.

My husband and I found Able Guesthouse after a terrible experience at Kimchi Guesthouse. We had such a bad stay at Kimchi, we forfeited our reservation and walked all over Hongdae checking out various guest houses to make sure we booked a place that was actually clean and where we could get proper sleep. Able Guesthouse stood out immediately. Mr. Hong was very friendly and welcoming, and so was his regular staff, Audrey. It was clean, quiet, and service was very warm and professional. We rented the private double room on the top floor, and we could not hear other guests or any noises from our room for the entire duration of our five night stay. The price was almost the same as Kimchi Guesthouse, but instead of bunkbeds with super thin mats and faulty air conditioning, we had a real bed with a real mattress, an air conditioner that we could control, a big closet, and a private bathroom. Not only was it a very comfortable place to stay, but the customer service was above and beyond. Mr. Hong provides his personal cell number as well as a cell phone you can use to call him if you have any questions or concerns at any time. I am not sure if this is customary for guesthouses in Korea, but at Kimchee Guesthouse, after three nights of suffocating heat because of the air conditioner turning off every night, when we complained, they refused to let us speak with a manager and refused a refund, even for future nights we hadn't yet stayed. Overall, Able Guesthouse is above and beyond other guesthouses in the Hongdae area. If you want comfort and serenity, this is an ideal place, and is an extremely good value for the price. If you want to party and meet other travelers, this would not be the right place for you.
Mr. Hong is really nice and friendly! The room is clean and the bathroom is very clean. I like the traditional rooftop area. And the location is not far from all the Hongdae hype but also not on the busy street so we can rest well.
The room doors are quite thin so we could hear other guests talking in their room. But thankfully all the guests in the guesthouse are nice and they do not make much noise at night.
