It took me a bit to find the place (it's on the 2nd floor of a building so you need to look up to see the sign) but it was worth it. Their menu is not that big but what I had was excellent. A lot of "artisan" burger joints just load up the burger with lots of toppings which ends up taking away from the burger. Not so here. The flavors were well balanced. I had the Juicy Lucy which has cheese in the middle, sautéed onions, a a special sauce. It is very juicy so watch your first bite. The beer was also very good. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you're in the mood for an American type meal this place is worth a stop.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The owner and his fiance were warm and gracious hosts, sort of like you would experience at a high-end restaurant service-wise, but with none of the snootiness or pretense. My wife. 4 year old daughter and 5 year old son, as well as I greatly enjoyed everything we have tried at this place. Important tip: The Galbi Fries are a must, but make sure you ask for them CRISPY, otherwise they are a soggy concoction that appeals more to local Korean patrons than "westerners" or "foreigners" (as we non Koreans are normally referred to here). The owners and staff really do go out of their way put an extra gourmet touch into everything they offer, never been to a burger joint with off-the-menu "specials". Really do recommend this place. Also, they have a full bar and my kids tried their first Shirley Temple, so funny to see their first impression of a maraschino cherry. What a retro, surreal thing to have offered my kids this old time kids drink. Now to explain who was Ambassador Temple....jejeje. BTW, they loved the whole experience.

Everyone propped this place up but honestly it was just ok. I am not taking anything away from the place but it was ok. Nothing really put it over the top to me.

So a good burger isn't a good reason to travel halfway around the world, but after sampling the myriad of different Korean dining options in Seoul, sometimes you want a little taste of home. Left Coast definitely delivered a great meal that lets you feel like you are back in the states. The expats who run the restaurant are great and have a solid menu and great service. My wife's burger was underdone and that keeps it from a perfect score but I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I was craving a burger.

Awesome burgers, great vibe, and super caring involved owners. The price is higher than a street burger but this is not even in the same ballpark as street burgers. Even my beloved Five Guys isn't close to this experience. You can easily control your costs if you want by skipping drinks and apps but it's priced comparable to any other restaurant if its caliber in Seoul. Our burgers are served with a small side of potato salad that was equally delish. Although they are a burger place, keep in mind the artisan part of the name. They make everything in house: pickling the toppings like onions and jalapeños; creating scrumptious jams to top creative burgers; using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. All while creating an amazing American burger experience! P.S. They have a great warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream for dessert. If you are craving ooey gooey fresh from the oven goodness-don't miss it!
