It is definitely a 5 star hotel in a great location in the "hip" Gangnam district. The service and hotel staff is probably one of the best we have seen in several years in the world. They have excellent English skills and they aim to please. Free Internet in the rooms and unbelievable modern bathrooms and shower facilities that are the size of some people's main rooms. Well designed and very addictive. The only downsides is the lighting is very limited in the rooms and if you need good lighting for reading or work, this will be a major disadvantage for you. The beds are also a little stiff by western standards, and this may just due to the Korean market.

The hotel is also near a large mall and restaurants that you can walk to in 5 minutes or less. Very convenient.

We had a modern room with floor to ceiling windows and a great view. The spa featured a steam room, sauna, and hot tubs. After eating breakfast at the Cornerstone restaurant we both felt sick, so I wouldn't recommend it. The Gang Nam subway station is right outside the hotel and offers easy transportation anywhere in the city. You can walk across the street and enjoy a nice meal at one of the mall food courts.

I stayed here with some friends over a weekend to visit Gangnam and see what the fuss was about. There was also a super remote EDM music festival happening that ultimately proved to be too far to visit for a single weekend despite being "just outside of Seoul," however some of the DJs were staying at the Park Hyatt, so the atmosphere was nice.

We stayed in a deluxe room and the most exciting part of this particular room was the restroom. There is a tub that literally overlooks the city and an intersection that is rather busy. To the shy, please be advised that the window privacy is a bit limited, i.e. when glancing from below you can make out what's going in within if the lighting is right, so do consider your comfort level before jumping in the corner tub.

The room was otherwise very clean and comfy. The lobby is located on a high floor with a lounge where you can get drinks. The pool is also on this level.

The one thing I would note about this hotel is that it is not in Gangnam as a young American tourist would envision Gangnam (like, where the face cutout of Psy is outside the "actual" Gangnam). You need some transportation - a taxi for instance - to get to the main clubs like Ellui, Octagon or the Hongdae zzzone.

Despite this it met expectations as a beautiful Asian Park Hyatt and I'd come back here to keep it classy and safe.

Note: far from Hello Kitty cafe.

I have been here multiple times for business trips over past few years.

Hotel is modern and sleek. It has aged well and I love their wooding flooring - very homely. Staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet quality is top notch, fantastic bakeries. Gym is relatively small but kept clean. Room-service breakfast is of such large portion that it is often for breakfast + lunch with leftovers for myself. I love the Aesop amenities too.

Personally I do not like the 01 room type. They are next to the lift which can be a little noisy for the light sleepers. What bothered me the most is that there are strange pillars inside the room in this room. There is also no recliner in this room type.

I have stayed several times at this hotel and I find it to be the best option in town. Location is amazing, right across the COEX, ten minutes away from Gangnam station and other sightseeing spots, cafés and top restaurants. The hotel lobby is nice and delvers quite a view, pool is great, the bar is also good and the breakfast is one of the best in Seoul. I really like the rooms, the space is great the decor is really nice too and the bathroom is just the best. If I had to stay in any hotel in Seoul I would definitely choose this one. The concierge were amazing, every suggestion they gave me was an absolute hit.

To start with the service was fantastic! I had lots of questions and they had lots of answers - very efficient in booking reservations and helping with decisions - the team was very quick to respond and always very helpful. The rest of the staff at the hotel was as helpful.

I had many little requests and even got a special treat for my birthday!

I read the reviews of the rooms and they were as expected - very modern - very bright and very comfortable. The setup was awesome and I think if you know you are going into a glass building that maybe you should expect to see in and see out. Beds are super comfy (be careful not to bang your knees on the wood frame thought) and the bathtub/shower is awesome

The pool was amazing and such a great feeling swimming in the sky!

The location is off the beaten path to the tourists sites north of the river but the subway is at your doorstep and it is a good location to explore the Gangman area (plus taxis are very affordable).

One of the top 3 hotels I have stayed in during my lifetime! To the Park Hyatt team thanks for making the trips so rememberable!.

Room Tip: The suites are fantastic!
