It was a good stay. Room is 612. The location is great, right across Myeongdong shopping area. Reception is nice. The room is clean. Everything was perfect untill the last day (August 29th). Someone from the cleaning staff broke the cap of my shaving cream bottle and left it there without any word. Thus I had to throw it away bcoz it's difficult to pack. It's not the shaving cream bottle I worried about. It's the manner toward guests.More

the staff there are very friendly starting from the receptionist until the house keeper.
it's so close to myondong street shops and shinsegae mall so if you like shopping this is the perfect place for you. Namsan tower is also very close. Don't miss the view from the roof

i stayed here on august 2016. so last few days ago. the hotel is in a great location. across the street from the main entrance of myondong. you can catch the 6015 bus i believe from the airport if im correct. costs about 15000 won. so 15 bucks. drops you off one block away on the other side. you have to cross the street and mind you that to get to the otherside there two crossings. or you go down the underground and up. there are lots of cafes nearby so that was good.
the hotel room i stayed in was small but just right. the bathroom was small and the sink was outside which was unusual. it had a nice big tv. my problem with the hotel is i found random hair on my towel and on my sheets. there was a dress left in the closet. the wifi was pretty week so i had a hard time streaming videos while chilling. the location is good as ive said. the staff is nice, friendly, and helpful.
i should have complained about the problems i had. but other than that it was a good hotel but unfortunately one of the bad ones due to what i mentioned, out of the ones ive stayed in as i travelled.

I just stayed in New Oriental Hotel with my family for 7 nights, it was a great choice indeed!! The location is great, it is just a road across the Myeongdong shopping area and the airport shuttle bus. It takes only 3 minutes walk to the subway station. The room is clean and spacious than I expected. As we requested for a 4 persons room, there are 2 single beds and 1 double bed, yet we can open all our luggages easily. The bathroom is bright and spacious too, the shower is good. The balcony is a nice place for my son who played chess with grandfather, also having fried chicken at late night. Especially thanks to the front desk staff who was very responsible and helpful, he replied my enquiries by emails promptly and tried his best to solve my problems and requests which is much appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel!!

The location of the hotel is just a road across the main Myeongdong shopping area. It is quiet but very close to the same shopping district. The overall hotel design and amentities are new, simple and very modern. The bedding is very comfortable; the bathroom is very spacious but need to install hooks for hanging clothes or towels. The staff of the front desk is very helpful and can speak fluent English. It is great value in terns of the location, services and newness of the hotel as a whole.
