hotel was very clean with basic kitchenette facilities. bathroom a bit small but acceptable.
staff were very helpful, they did help us to book B-boy show (the show operator didn't speak English). there were computers at lobby for free internet browsing.
location very close with MRT station & shopping malls

I keep coming back to this hotel because of the three reasons on the title. This hotel does the job. It is not in the middle of everything but it's close enough and the subway and buses are literally two minutes away. And there is an airport limo stops right outside, which is a big plus for a budget hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and fast food in close proximity and you definitely won't go hungry. The convenient store and money exchange are just right outside. The service is much better than six years ago when I first stayed here. So they are trying. For its price, I really can't fault them. The only things are the rooms are small and they clean your room daily but don't change the sheets. It's ok if you travel solo but if you travel with someone who wants a bit of space, it's better to go next door to Western Co-op, a sister hotel.

The hotel location is spot on. Taking the Airport 6001 bus from Incheon is like taking a taxi. You get a door to door service. The fare is 14,000 KRW/person and the trip takes about 80 minutes on a Sunday morning. The hotel lobby is very small though and usually piled up with luggages from early arrivals or people checking out. You can only check-in the rooms after 3pm. There are seats for only 6 people in the lobby, with two of them for people using the PCs provided. So, if you arrive early like I did after a long flight, you have to find somewhere else to catch up on your sleep before check in. The reception staff are polite but not so friendly as to make you feel at home. Probably because of the language gap. They are quite helpful when asking for directions but do not expect any help with the luggage. I don't think the hotel employ any bell boys to help guests with the luggage.
The room is quite small for two person but it is adequately furnished with a kitchenette and very clean. The bathroom is a bit cramped though. There is a split unit air-conditioner but you need to ask for the remote control unit from the reception. But best of all, broadband LAN and WiFi is provided free of charge 24 hours a day unlike a more upmarket and expensive hotel in Busan, about which I will submit a review later.
Location wise, the Dongdaemun Cultural and Historical Park Metro entrance is five minutes walk away but you will have to walk an additional 10-15 minutes, underground, and negotiating the stairs to get to the tickets hall. Forget going anywhere using the Metro if you have a very heavy luggage to carry. Shops and eateries are plenty nearby but there are no halal restaurants nearby for Muslims.
Overall, this hotel is clean and safe, conveniently located, has good room facilities and if you have meal restrictions or prefer to prepare or brought your own food from home, the kitchenette facilities is very welcomed. The lobby size or reception staff are small matters considering other pluses.

Room tip: Room facing the back are presumably quieter. It is quite stuffy in May so you need to open the windows for ventilation. The air-conditoner works but need to ask for the remote control unit.

Located a couple minutes walk away from Dongdaemun, this place was so easy to get to via an airport shuttle bus which takes you right in front of the building. This place is a minute or two walk to the subway system (which was awesome as Seoul has an excellent transit system).

If you love to shop, its a great place to stay. During the day, we would go sightseeing and during the night we would drop our things off the Uljiro and walk to Dongdaemun to shop shop and shop. Really very convenient. Lots of restaurants nearby. Price is excellent for its location. There's a kitchen in the room which is super convenient if you want to eat on a budget. Only drawback is that the room is a little small and there is no separate wall for the shower, which means when you take a shower, the entire bathroom becomes soaked. Staff were pretty nice.
