The hotel location is spot on. Taking the Airport 6001 bus from Incheon is like taking a taxi. You get a door to door service. The fare is 14,000 KRW/person and the trip takes about 80 minutes on a Sunday morning. The hotel lobby is very small though and usually piled up with luggages from early arrivals or people checking out. You can only check-in the rooms after 3pm. There are seats for only 6 people in the lobby, with two of them for people using the PCs provided. So, if you arrive early like I did after a long flight, you have to find somewhere else to catch up on your sleep before check in. The reception staff are polite but not so friendly as to make you feel at home. Probably because of the language gap. They are quite helpful when asking for directions but do not expect any help with the luggage. I don't think the hotel employ any bell boys to help guests with the luggage.
The room is quite small for two person but it is adequately furnished with a kitchenette and very clean. The bathroom is a bit cramped though. There is a split unit air-conditioner but you need to ask for the remote control unit from the reception. But best of all, broadband LAN and WiFi is provided free of charge 24 hours a day unlike a more upmarket and expensive hotel in Busan, about which I will submit a review later.
Location wise, the Dongdaemun Cultural and Historical Park Metro entrance is five minutes walk away but you will have to walk an additional 10-15 minutes, underground, and negotiating the stairs to get to the tickets hall. Forget going anywhere using the Metro if you have a very heavy luggage to carry. Shops and eateries are plenty nearby but there are no halal restaurants nearby for Muslims.
Overall, this hotel is clean and safe, conveniently located, has good room facilities and if you have meal restrictions or prefer to prepare or brought your own food from home, the kitchenette facilities is very welcomed. The lobby size or reception staff are small matters considering other pluses.
