Shawn is a great guide on the hiking tour. He provides fascinating stories and facts about the local area and all the myths and legends that go a long with it. He also has good taste in Korean food for the meal at the end of the hike and that alone is worth booking this trip.

Thank you, Matthew. The mountain food is the best--worth the hike.

The Dark Side of Seoul tour is really fun. Although the tour does talk about the more haunted areas in the city and shows them off, the real attraction is learning a lot of the darker history of the area and some of its lesser known locations.

Yes, we're more about the dark history. Seoul is a vast city. I originally planned to take everyone on the subway to some of the spots, but then that would make it a 5-hour tour.

Seoul isn't great at catering to solo diners, so I was very excited to be able to join a beer and chicken evening in the city! I met Joe outside the station and we chatted for a bit while we waited for the others to arrive. He runs various tours and is a food blogger (I think!), so has carefully picked places that he think best represent the Korean chicken and beer culture (not just a few random places that he likes). It was very well done; everyone on our tour had a different favourite. We explored a part of town I would not have otherwise visited and the beer and conversation flowed freely. Everything was included in the price, so it was all very simple on the evening. Highly recommended.

Hi David. To support you, yes, I am a food blogger. One of Korea's first food bloggers, in fact. The chicken tour is so much fun. I get excited each time someone books it. Thank you!

My friend and I took the regular tour. Our tour guide was Sean, who did an excellent job. It was a fascinating blend of history and folklore. Sean was very knowledgeable and was able to give us a lot of interesting information. We had no paranormal activity on our tour, though we were told where such things had been in the past. It was a bit cold in November, but not too bad. The walk wasn’t hard. There was a break in the middle for anyone who needed it. We really enjoyed hearing about all the historical events and the background of them. Sean also gave us a lot of information about other places we could visit that were reportedly haunted.

Thank you, Elizabeth. We try to take into account everyone's stamina and health on the tour. It can be a long walk on that extended edition.

Guide was awesome, only improvement was how if we all had wings, we could totally fly to each spot on tour, should implement this for future tours.
