Best Western Premier Seoul Garden Hotel

Stayed there for 3 nights. The best thing about this hotel that is echoed by many people is its location. Besides having a nearby KAL bus-stop, it is also in the middle of two metro station (of different lines) so going around is a bliss.

There are some who stated that the rooms are small. Although I did not find that. On the contrary, I find it adequate.

Another good point to highlight about this hotel is that there is a street directly behind the hotel that serves food and drinks till 0200hrs. I particularly liked a deep fried chicken bits in spicy sauce that cost around 6000 won for a medium size portion that is heavenly when paired with the local soju.

Convenience stores are located at all four directions of the hotel. If you missed packing anything, you can definitely buy supplies easily.

For those who missed western fast food. Macdonald's is just right opposite the hotel main entrance.

Within the hotel, the restaurants serve decent western and asian food. The portions are surprisingly big. A plate of fried rice is sufficient to serve two of my children (one nine and the other five).

Wifi is strongest at the hotel lobby and LAN is free within hotel rooms. But one can catch some stray Wifi every now and then.

Hotel staff are friendly and although they speak minimal English, understanding each other is not difficult.

This is defintely not a high class hotel, however it is a very decent mid range one. It is a very comfortable hotel for a family returning to the room after a day's worth of hard shopping and sightseeing.

The rooms you'll need to crawl in, Internet is free provided you bring a laptop that's ancient using a LAN cable. You'll need to pay to go to the gym. Your bathroom is actually a closet. You'll need to pay for your toothbrush and shaver. I'd say the only thing about this hotel that is worth saying is the location it's central. My advice don't bother even looking at the pictures they are all fake nothing is like they place on their website

Good thing is that it locates near subway. Also, behind the hotel are so many bars and restaurants. I chose this hotel because Airport Bus passed by for easy departure. However, airport bus stop is just opposite hotel that one would have to carry all luggages crossing street to get to. Luckily I did not have too many things that cumbersome so as to do it all alone. Hotel concierges speak good English but never be available to be helpful since they mostly care about group travelers than solo traveller like me.

So far it is good but not impressive.

Room Tip: Once enter the room, check cleanliness first. May be hotel services doesn't do a good job.

Hotel's location is directly facing the main road and about 5 mins walk to the nearest train station. WIFI is only free in the lobby, however we did manage to connect to some stray wifi now and then in the hotel room.

Right opposite there is a Mcdonalds, 7-11, subway and a cafe, hence not too worry if hunger pangs strike you suddenly.

Overall, this was one of the better hotels I had stay on my trip to Korea.

The hotel is centrally located with a KAL bus stop just in front, with access to the COEX the exhibition center and near by deli shop 7-11 and a lot of Korean & other fast food restaurants. The Breakfast Buffet has limited variety of western food, while a lot of Japanese & Korean plates are available. Cheese is very slim & rare.

Room Tip: If you have afternoon flight, try to stretch your check out time to the maximum allowable which is 2...

I spent four days here on business. The location is interesting and away from much of the new city feel. The hotel lobby is nice. Regarding the food, the BBQ feast is excellent. The breakfast buffet is adequate. Its exactly the same thing every day; no variation whatsoever but it was good. The rooms made the stay somewhat uncomfortable. They are tiny. There is a desk and one slipper chair. The chair is too short for the desk and the room only has wired internet so you're forced to sit at the desk with a chair that's way too short to work for any length of time. There is a charge for the fitness center. I haven't seen a hotel charge for that in years.

In such a technology advanced country, wifi should be a standard at any hotel. I love everything about your hotel except for the fact that there is no wifi. Do you have plans on installing wifi soon? If so, I might consider staying at your establishment.
