Owner description: "A talented troupe of Korean performers treats Cookin' audience to a taste of Culinary lunacy-sliced and diced to percussive perfection." - Playbill, Minetta Lane Theatre-NANTA premiered in 1997 and is the longest running show in Korean history. This electrifying 90-min show, on the comically-charged efforts of four cooks who are tasked with preparing an entire wedding banquet in just one hour, is one of Korea's most popular musicals of all time. Since its first performance, this world famous non-verbal performance made a record of 20% above full capacity at the theatre driving the largest number of audience in Korean history.

“Super fun for the family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

If you visits Seoul and have time/plan to see one show, Nanta is the one, especially if you are with family and kids. You don't need know Korean language at all to enjoy the show, and it is not in any way frightening or scary that small kids may not like it.
The performance is great, although the story line is kinda cheesy but I don't think anyone will actually care...
Btw, if you have friends in Korea, ask them to call and buy the tickets for you. They sometimes have special ticket/price not published in the web site and you have to call and ask for it.

“Great Show!”

Loved the dancing, percussion performance and how they interacted with the audience.

Both children and adults loved it.

“An exhibition of some great skills”

The story was a bit lame.
The token 'hot chick' really grated me.
But ignoring the story the performance was really polished and contained some really impressive moments.

“Awesome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013

It was really amazing. It was fun, non-verbal humor so don't worry about not knowing Korean. Very interactive with the audience, and overall tons of fun. Great for family and adults. Highly recommend it to tourists!

“Fun show in Seoul”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

This show was fun, if a little cheesy. It is pretty much non-verbal, so it is a fun way to enjoy a Korean performance without having to know Korea. The show is very humorous and involves a lot of audience participation. Don't sit in the front if you don't want to get hit with things or pulled up on stage!
