Although there are many Indian options across the city, my wife and I consider Taj to be on a different level of quality, taste, and service. To start, kindness and warmth you get for the wait staff is unprecedented in any restaurant in Seoul. Our favorite dishes are the Saag Gohst, a lamb with Spinach curry and their chicken tikka masala, although we have not had a curry we've not enjoyed. The have several private rooms available that we have utilized for special events and everybody had a great time. Their lunch specials, which include vegetarian or non-vegi options come in two sizes and can be had for either 10,000 or 20,000 won. The smaller option will definitely fill you up as it comes with two curries, a small salad and a large order of naan bread. Free parking is also available, and in downtown Seoul, that's an unusual perk! There is usually a large lunch rush during the work week, but the crowd thins out at about 1:00 PM.
