Brand new boutique establishment, one of a row of love hotels catering to those looking for a discreet late night fling. Its location is a little out of the way, and the occasional sighting of a 'public service' lady and her middle aged male companion may shock the less openminded traveller. It is otherwise super clean, quiet (windows are double glazed, so minimal traffic or street noise - we were on floor 6 of 7), and the staff are helpful and friendly despite only a little English. The room service staff are great too, cleaning the room daily and restocking everything. All amenities are provided, such as instant coffee, tea, kettle, mugs, biscuits, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, skin toner and moisturiser, brushes, combs, toothpaste (not toothbrush), hair gel, hair dryer, slippers, robes, towels, spa bath, bidet, huge plasma TV, vanity with mirror, small bar fridge and two PCs for internet access. Rooms are spacious and beds are big though firm. Bathroom (in the deluxe room) is very spacious. Also provided is constant access to the foyer treats such as bottled water, canned tangerine juice, lollies, a slushie machine, an ice cream machine, a popcorn machine and a coffee machine. A constant supply of hydration and energy - heaven!
Downsides to consider include tiles throughout the room with no rugs, so vocal folk will need to make use of the double doors (leave your shoes just inside the main door) to avoid escape of noise into the corridors. The trip from the airport (bus 6013 from arrivals hall between gates 5 and 6; 10000 won) will take just over an hour - stop after the bus turns into Jangan road from Janganpyeong metro station. Taxis from downtown Seoul (Jongno area) will cost about 7-8000 won. Unfortunately the room aircon is a little noisy, and the breakfast is nothing special. It's delivered to the room between 8.30 and 9am, consisting of jam sandwiches, juice and a carton of milk. Not really a drama as there are heaps of little eateries in the area with good food at great prices.
Conclusion: for about USD$80 (zuji package deal) a night, this is as good as you can get. Only for those who are openminded, though! Had a great stay with family.
