“Must try in Seoul”
Reviewed June 21, 2014

WOW it's very delicouse chicken soup with rice cake and noodle. Only one menu there every table ordered the same food. One pot can be shared for 2-3 people you can order extra rice cake and noodle. It was so yummy to eat the rice cake and noodle in a mixture of the soup and kimchi. The price is not expensive, it was valuable and enjoyable lunch.

It is located in a local market, go for lunch is better cos less people. We took taxi there by showing the taxi driver the korean name and address.

We definitely will eat again in our next trip.

“Dak Hanmari”
Reviewed May 27, 2014

We were shopping in Dongdaemun area, and we usually google must eat cuisine nearby. And, Jin Ok Hwa Dak Hanmari was in the bucket, and we decided to give it a try.
Honestly we have some difficulties to locate the restaurant, because it was located in an alley, however, we still manage to find it in the end with google map.
In total 3 pax of us, we have ordered the signature dish - dak hanmari, and soju. Its quite popular in Japan travel guide, since we have surrounded by Japanese travellers. And I manage to have a conversation with two of them, they got to know this restaurant by Japan TV Programme which aired previously.
The chicken soup was nice and worth the searching after all. Through the bloggers recommendation to eat it with chilli paste provided. Personally I preferred the clear chicken soup without the chilli paste.

“Best chicken soup~”
Reviewed May 26, 2014

This chicken soup is the best! The chicken is so fresh and tender. 1 chicken pot can share among 2~3 ppl. Must add their hand-made noodles and rice cake! You can either have clear soup or add chillies and kimchi in the soup. You can add rice to the soup after you've finished the chicken...flavourful congee.

“Better one for a little bit”
Reviewed February 4, 2014 via mobile

Went the other chicken pot one 20 meters down the road the other day, and come here today to do a comparison.
Soup-wise, the other one has a thicker soup. But for the chicken itself, this one is a little better.
This has three floors so finding a table is not that difficult.
Very good chicken. Definitely worth a visit.

“Jin ok hwa”
Reviewed December 5, 2013 via mobile

Accidentally bump into this restaurant ard 3pm, since many people in this restaurant then get a try. Actually nothing special and no choice just to have a piece of whole chicken in a pot + some kimchi and rice cake cost 20,000 Won.
