I like hotels like this one. Great location, personal touch, and noteworthy design. The location is great. Service is ok, not mindblowing. and for a European the breakfast is ok, but not fantastic. Bottom line is that I would come back, and would lokke for this hotel next time I am in Seoul

Room Tip: Great location. Design. Personal touch

La Casa is part of the upscale furniture store, right at the heart of the Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil, the tree-lined cafe shopping street in Seoul. The area is just beautiful and zen unlike the craziness that goes on in Myeongdong. It's practically 2 minutes walk to the nice eateries, cafes, bars and restaurants. Although it's a bit of a track (15-20mins walk) to the nearest metro.

The rooms are all tastefully furnished and the lobby practically looked like a living room cum library. The staff are generally helpful although English may be somewhat limited (for the night staff). Upon closer inspection, the rooms are a little bit dated and the bathrooms will need a bit of upgrading.

There are computers available at the lobby for free use and free wifi throughout the hotel. The breakfast is decent with a good spread but lacking in terms of local delights.

Recently completed my second stay at this hotel -- there are others hotels closer to work in the heart of Gangnam but this hotel beats them on location hands down! There are so many wonderful restaurants and cafes around, all open well after work hours on week nights, that it's far nicer to stay here than in Yeoksam or even Coex area. The hotel itself is boutique and showcases many of the wares from their attached store (Casamia), down to Caudelie toiletries. Staff are friendly and English-speaking and there is a small gym & free wi-fi. Breakfast is a nice spread and they make eggs to order -- just as at the desk when you come in.

A few reviewers have mentioned that the rooms are small, however, in my experience they're larger than other local boutique/business hotels (such as the Mercure Yeoksam) and really, if you're staying in this neighborhood you shouldn't be spending so much time in your room!

Thank you for staying with us at La Casa,

All of staff of La Casa is very happy to hear that our guests have enjoyed their time and satisfied with their stay at our hotel. All comments left by our previous guests are important to us. La Casa hotel's charming , cute furniture and interior decorations are high-end masterpiece and output from professional designers or Korea's top brand CASAMIA. Directors of La CASA hotel are, at this moment, putting efforts to upgrade furniture and interior decoration of the hotel. We will be changing our interior concepts with different themes for every seasons in near Future. on the other hand, We are also working together to make service of our restaurant and Front office to most pleasing and satisfactory with help of latest technology and best service. Once again, thank you for sharing your positive experience online and we look forward to welcoming you back to La Casa hotel in Near Future.

I stayed at La Casa Hotel a couple of times during recent business trips in Seoul. It is a very good hotel in dowtown Seoul. It is in fact a boutique hotel located in Guangnam. Good service in general. Rooms are very clean but a bit too small. They offer a very good breakfast buffet and nice staff always ready to help. I will come back for sure... Price is also pretty reasonable knowing that Seoul is not a really cheap city...

I had a absolutely lovely stay at Hotel La Casa. The hotel was within 10 minutes walking distance from Sinsa metro station. I would recommend to take taxi if you are travelling with big suitcase. It cost only KRW3000 from Sinsa station to the hotel (even during rush hours at around 7pm). Remember to prepare the hotel name in Korean for the taxi driver (as I know no Korean at all). There were many nice bar and restaurants nearby. You will also be amazed to find many trendy boutiques around. I think it resembles Lang Kwai Fong in Hong Kong.

My single was fairly sized (to an Asian girl). It was simple yet cozy. Well equipped with kettle, safe, and basic amenities. The shower was great. Frankly speaking the air conditioning light could cause annoyance to many people (not for me though, I am somehow used to it).

Breakfast was okay (nothing too special though). The dining area was spacious with large window. The public area was trendy.

My compliments go to the friendly and helpful staff at the reception. I checked out and returned home on Saturday and found the post office was closed. I didn't know where I could get stamps and drop my postcard. The staff was so helpful and agreed to go to post office and get them posted for me. They refused to take my tips except the postage needed. My sincere thanks for their assistance. I had an absolutely great stay!

Located in Gangnam district and a walk of about 5 minutes to Garousu Gil (the key shopping street in Gangnam district, La Casa is perfect for those who prefer to stay in a hip, posh neighborhood with character. This beats staying at Lotte hands down. La Casa Hotel is part of a building where Casamania, a high end furniture/home decor store is located. The hotel is a chic boutique with very trendy decor. We stayed in the twin biz room but the room was smaller than expected. The shower and toilet took up one third of the room and it was great for us two girls. The room decor was minimalist but it was ok since we didn't spend much time in the room. The restaurant served great pasta and bread, however, with lots of cool restaurant serving up local, western and Japanese cuisines, it is hard for anyone to resist going to dine some place else. The hotel is quite expensive given the room is not spacious, the staff are friendly but not particularly cheerful. Because of it's location in a stylish and hip district, and about 10 mins away from the subway ( very enjoyable walk though), I will definitely come back to stay for my next visit. I will recommend this place to my friends.

Room Tip: If you come with a family and want to splash it out, book the Garden Room on the top floor. It is go...
