It really was a very bad experience. Just three months before we went to Korea in June 2012, we started to look for accommodation for our trip in Seoul. In the end we decided to stay in JK House because we saw a lot of people have given them a very good comment. Then, we sent the reservation email to JK and we received confirmation immediately. We were so looking forward for staying in JK. However, we were told that no room was reserved for us when we went there. We were so tired because there is no elevator at the exit of MRT and we were forced to use staircase with our heavy luggage. We were also angry tried to argue with the staff. However, the answers they have given us even disappoint us further. At first, they said we need to send confirmation few days before we went JK and it is stated in the website. We checked through our email and website and there is no such nonsense. Then, they said the date we booked the room is too near to the date we went there so there was no room for us. We have done the reservation and received the confirmation through email in three months before. If there is no room for us, please don’t send confirmation to us. After 2 hours argument, they finally admitted their mistake as they forgot to reserve the rooms for us. However, they refused to make any compensation and just find another guesthouse for us. Their reason just because we were going to stay in a better guesthouse and there was no reason for them to make any compensation to us. Frankly speaking, travel in Korea is an enjoyable trip; however, what happened to us in JK has totally spoilt our travel mood. Except “Sorry”, we get nothing for trying to believe JK is a good accommodation.
