Stayed here in a standard room and it was wonderful. The hotel is very cool, with swings in the lobby, elevators like an old suitcase and bold designed rooms. It's great, the surrounding neighbourhood is kind of sleazy, but every major city in the world has it (soho in London). However, even late at night, its never dangerous or intimidating (i was a solo traveller).
Room service is marvellous too, great local food and very friendly staff.
Typically of East Asia, breakfast is a weird affair. However, the eggs, toast and coffee were fine.
Laundry service here was great.
the staff speak very good English and had a very good attitude (polite, not fawning but attentive). I really liked the experience.

I would recommend getting a car pick up from the airport as the bus recommended takes so long you wish you were dead! It took about 2 hours and you think "I can't believe I'm STILL not there".

Generally I liked staying here, but I am not sure if I would go back as I need to be more central for business appointments. However if you stay here, you will find a fun, unique place with genuine hospitality.

Very good hotel in an international neighborhood of Seoul. Within walking distance you have a lot of restaurants and bars and it is about a 5 minutes walk to the underground station. The hotel has a very hip/fun design and I would definitely come back on my next visit in Seoul.

I have stayed in this nice boutique hotel a number of times, but I regret to say the service is declining. The restaurant is a disaster with regards to service, we had a lunch/dinner the hotels restaurant and experienced the following:
- The white wine was not chilled and served in the big red-wine glasses.
- The waiter forgot our main order.
- When our main order appeared after a number of complaints then they had already removed the the included cheese/desert buffet.
- When we complained about the service then the manager just laughs and did not understood any wrong doing.

This is a nice hotel, but its bad that the staff is so poorly trained and lack customer service.

Regards,

A regular guest.

We spent 10 nights here and would certainly choose this hotel again.
The decor is a feature, we liked the spacious lobby with its swings, art works and wonderful display of Korean pottery.Overall producing a sense of fun. The corridors to the rooms are dark but not long; this gives a contrast upon entering the room which is light and bright giving the impression that is is larger than it really is.The bathrooms were all glass, mirrors and light, with a proper bath .The beds were comfortable and there was sufficent storage space.
Our room also had a bay window where we enjoyed an early morning cup of tea with a view of surrounding hills incorporating the Leeum Samsung Museum which comprises of three contrasting buildings, was our favorite of the four museums we visited and is just a short stroll from this hotel.
Otherwise the location is just perfect, the subway was close, numerous restaurants, bars clubs and shopping including an Antique Street.
We enjoyed returning to the hotel and sitting on the Terrace with a cold drink, watching the world go past. The hotel restaurant offered buffet meals with a short table menu for dinner.
We found the staff friendly and very helpful. Our stay was altogether a pleasent experience.

Myself and my wife were her for 4 nights. Great location where all the fun is. Great bars and resturants on your doorstep. Rooms were nice and bed was very cozy. Bathroom is crazy. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Ate out the rest of the time.

I cannot say enough good things about the location of this hotel. It is located in the international area and it is surrounded by eateries, clubs, bars, and shops. Also, the subway station is just a couple blocks down the street to the right. I never felt unsafe walking around in this area even at night. This is the area to be in! The hotel itself has a nice lobby, but that is about it. The rooms are just okay and the hallways are extremely dark with discolored/stained carpet. Oh, and the WiFi was extremely spotty. That being said, if you can get a good deal on this hotel and you don't plan to spend a lot of time in the room, go for it! It was clean and sufficient.

Room Tip: Get a room above the fifth floor.
