“Suitable for young couples but not family”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2011

Stayed in a superior double room for 2 nights. We are family of 3 with a 10 year old son.

The lobby and corridors on the hotel room floors are dimly. Lift accessed by card.

The room was small with only queen size bed and no space to fit additional bed.

Bathroom is open concept with partially frosted glass doors to shower and wc( no locks), and it faces a mirror wall. So what you do in there is visible from bed. Toothbrush not provided.

Nearest subway is 400m walk in the open, perfectly fine is good weather but tough with kids on the subzero temperature of late dec.

The streets are lined with many restaurants and pubs.

Except for a few swings at the main lobby, superior double room is not meant for family with young children.Definitely more suitable fir young couples on honeymoon. It was more expensive the hotel lotte world which has better facilities.

Stayed for 7 nights . Arrived almost midnight and tired but with warmest wellcome from the staff ...we feel very rejuvenate ! The lobby really nice and beautifully design . The bedroom was comfortable .
Location of the hotel was a plus point , near the subway , shopping areas and variety of choices for the foods especially for the international travellers ... namely , KFC . McDonalds , Kebab , Thai's ,Middle East , Indians ... many others .
Will come back here again for next trips .......

We spent four nights in total in this hotel during September 2011. The room was very pleasant with enough space. The staff was helpful and friendly but it was the case for all Korean people we met during our travel. We appreciated the breakfast (choise of international and Korean food). The hotel is near a metro station, convenient to visit different places in Seoul. Just in front of the hotel, there is a bus stop to go directly to the airport.
THe only negative point was the noise in our first room.
Anyway I would recommend it.

IP Boutique is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It is uber modern with a spaceship console attached to the toilet. My bed was very comfy. I can't really fault the hotel except if you stay there on Friday or Saturday nights as there is a club in the bassment of the hotel. I was on the 5th floor and all I could hear was bass until 5am.

Room Tip: Go as high as you can to avoid the bass.

The location is good since it is only 4-5 minutes from subway station and surrounded by many nice restaurants in the area. Also nice that the hotel offers free wifi in the premise and the signal is quite strong.

Unfortuantely, there was no air-con during our stay (8 - 11 Dec) and it bothered us a lot. Moreover, given that there is a night club next door on the ground floor, it was very noisy (combination with street noise in general at night and no air-con) on Fri and Sat nights.

It is fine if you go out enjoying night life and just come back around dawn. But it was quite annoying for ones who look for good sleep.

Nice new hotel in Itaewon area, 5 mins walk to subway. Nearby areas, full of coffee shops, restaurants, cosmetics, etc. Night clubs at night, very crowded.

The hotel decor is unique, using black and white color. Bathroom is modern and new design. Corridor is dark but ok.

Me and 2 other girlfriends went to Seoul for 5 days 4 nights, after a long research online and on tripadvisor, we decided to stay at IP Boutique Hotel. It was harder to search for hotel for 3 people and IP Boutique was able to provide with their deluxe room. We were very impressive with the hotel overall.

The staff were very friendly, we had power outage at 5 am (we were all awake due to jet-leg), they sent the maintenance staff upstairs within 5 mins and fixed the problem.

The room, bathroom, sheets are very clean, no complain at all. The room looks very modern, stylish and new. We were able to sleep very well. The only thing is the WIFI is not so stable, we had to keep switching the server. The hallway is very dark for some reason.

The hotel is about 5 minute walk to Itawon station, very convenient. There are coffee shops, restaurants around the hotel as well. We took the taxi sometimes too as the taxi is not expensive in Seoul.

I booked the hotel on hotels.com and think this is a great deal, especially for 3 of us to share. Overall, I would choose this hotel again if I visit Seoul again!
