Hotel is nice, clean and modern. It has 2 double bed, so it is perfect for family of four. It is connected to a big shopping mall and underground shopping. Many variety of eating places are easy to find. Emart is also located inside the shopping mall. Airport bus and metro station about 5-10 min walk.
One negative thing about the hotel is that you need to travel quite a bit if you want to explore Seoul main attractions, such as Myeongdong, Dongdaemun, Namdaemun, the Palaces etc.

The best thing about this hotel is location. Right near a huge shopping mall, Yeongduengpo station and downtown. It's not at par of JW Marriott standard but definitely a top notch hotel within "Courtyard" category. Always go for an upgrade ( 14th-16th floor) and a city view room. The lounge at the 15th floor is okay, may need some TLCs / and more option for breakfast. The restaurant downstairs is pretty good though sometimes can be very crowded and its just one restaurant that they have. They do not have a swimming pool nor do they have a spa ( they offer taxi ride to another Marriott property for it, but still its a pain). Rooms are clean, but the bathrooms need lots of work. The shower head of my bathroom was literally coming out of the wall ( and its an ungraded room!)

This Courtyard is compare to US and European Courtyards well at least one star above the standard. The level of services has pretty high rank, hotel includes lobby for Rewards status members (difference to Europe and US Courtyards) and free wifi for all members. Restaurant offers refreshing world food. Staff is always trying to be helpful. I have spet here many stays and this is my preferred place in Seoul. More comfort even compare to competition like Hyatt with old rooms and factory approach. Only missing thing is the swimming pool and spa, but if you really need them you can get them discounted in the sister hotel Marriott Executive Apts, just 1,5 km away.

I stay frequently at Marriot hotels around the world and was not impressed with this Courtyard Hotel. For the price and location it was not worth the stay. It did have a very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Good tasting food at the Momo cafe but was not impressed with the set up at breakfast time. The buffet is located in the back in a small area. During breakfast time the area was quite crowded and the food was running out frequently. The food was not replaced quickly which seemed due to lack of staff. A suggestion if going to the breakfast buffet arrive very early. For dinner the food was good but expensive for the choices offered on the menu. I
I felt the location of the hotel was not centrally located to downtown. The signs in the underground shopping area were very poor as to the location of the hotel. The hotel is clean and nice but would not stay here due to the location.

very comfortable Hotel, in a very nice location in the heart of downtown. Hotel linked with a very nice shopping mall. Very comfortable in the winter season because you don't have to going out from the hotel but just take a elevator.Excellent service, very friendly staff, great restaurant. Great for business trips. Absolutely suggested.
