They call it the JW Courtyard and this is one of the finest Courtyards I have ever stayed. The staff is absolutely fantastic. I was upgraded to a real nice suite and had executive lounge access due to my Marriott status. The hotel itself is located adjacent or attached to a huge upscale mall and is very easy to get to from Incheon, just take bus 6008 (9,000 KRW) and it drops u off around the corner from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit

The room is clean and quite new. The area is great. There're also a lot of food street a long the way from hotel to subway. Because it's close to subway, so it is very easy to go anywhere in Seoul from the hotel. There's also the bus to drop you off at the airport, just ask for the bus ticket to the airport at the front desk, you can buy it there. The hotel lobby links to the mall, so you can just walk from the hotel lobby to the mall. I didn't get a room with a very good view, but it wasn't a really bad view either, so no complaint. I would recommend this hotel to anyone any day.

If you need to be in Seoul on Business and want great accomodation ata reasonable price, look no further. They offer great service, nice rooms, and those familiar with the standard at Courtyard stateside will be pleasantly surprised, good value and great area. Just need to keep the bar open a bit later than midnight.

This hotel is a mid-range Marriott. Rooms are on the small size, but clean. You won't hear any street noise, but you can hear people in the hallway. The hotel looks new, but somehow feels dated (perhaps it's the color scheme). The rest of the hotel doesn't offer much, but if you need to run a meeting from this hotel, then you'll be set. Front desk is helpful and courteous. WiFi seems reliable and a decent speed.

Location may be considered good for some, not great for others. I was spending the day as a tourist in Seoul and found navigating the metro and multiple transfers a bit of a hassle. It's at least 20 minutes to any of the tourist attractions. If you are on a budget, take the express bus from the airport, which is located right around the corner from the hotel, rather than the train. If you have the cash, a car offers the utmost convenience.

The neighborhood doesn't offer much. Sure there is the Times Square shopping mall and the underground shopping area, but other than that, it's pretty bland.

Spent 4 days at the Marriott Courtyard in March. The hotel is excellent, in so many respects. Service at the hotel is flawless - I was contacted directly by reception 10 days before checkin, and was able to confirm early checkin. Having arrived at Incheon at 8am, this was really appreciated. Was able to checkin on arrival at 1030am, freshen up and go out and explore town. Staff speak good English, and the checkin was smooth and efficient.

The room were were in was on the large size, came with safety deposit box, tv, fridge, and huge shower/bathroom. No bathtub, but not particularly bothered about that. The room was immaculately clean, with plenty of wardrobe and suitcase space. It was really nice, and daily cleaning was thorough.

The hotel lobby itself is quite impressive, it's spotlessly clean, very nicely lit and the reception area has a nice atmosphere. The hotel is located in the same building as the Times Sq mall, and provides easy access to shops and restaurants. It's a 10 min overground ride to Seoul central via the local station, and some of the KTX trains to Busan also stop at the local station.
We also had access to the exec lounge, which was just great. Really good breakfast and evening service, with plenty of interesting local food and good wines. Breakfast choice in the main restaurant is better, and is of excellent quality. Make sure you try the Korean specialities, bibimbap makes a great breakfast :-)
Gym has a good selection of equipment, and is quiet.

Overall, I was really surprised by the exceptional quality of this hotel, given that it's a Courtyard. It really is operating a level far above this, and is more like a standard Marriott hotel, one with rather splendid décor.

I'd strongly recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in Seoul, and also like to thank the staff for making our stay so pleasant.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the higher floor - traffic noise is light, but you get a better view of the city

Recently back from Seoul for a four day vacation. Stayed at Courtyard. Location is a bit far from Dongdaemum and other touristy locations but it is on line 1 of the subway. So in my opinion, quite convenient. Not too many transfers and reasonable time to travel around. Good value as I got the prepaid option. I loved that it was connected to the Times Square mall, which was also connected to the subway.

The room was modern and had a good view. We were staying on the 16th floor. The washroom had enough amenities and very clean. It was quiet and we had very good sleep. The only negative thing was that the room was quite warm even though we put the temperature down to 18 degrees already.

Didn't try the breakfast or had any meals because it was quite pricy. Especially when Times Square offered so many more affordable choices. I opted for a car transfer from the airport. The ride was smooth and relaxing. No complaints at all.

Internet was free for me as a member. Connection was good and reliable. Another brownie point for the staff to allow me to check in at 6am, much earlier due to my red eye. Also got late check out extended to 3pm.

Would definitely return on my next trip to Seoul.

Excellent Service! The staff went out of their way to be accommodating for a family. The management was great. I liked being next to time world. The Breakfast was good (but expensive). I really liked the room. The suite was very good for our family with small children.
