The architecture of the traditional houses were beautiful. Will need a good pair of shoes and strong legs. Some of the streets were winding and slightly sloppy. It's not as crowded as Insadong which was nearby. I will like to visit it again and have a cuppa of coffee in one the cafes.

When you think how Seoul was flattened in the Korean War and how modern times results in conformity in dress, architecture and lifestyles, be certain you don't miss this village for a sample of traditional Korean house architecture.

The Village is like a museum exhibit, only later will you realize that the houses there are actually lived-in. I like the various art shopes in the fringes of the Village. A must visit area after a stroll in Insadong, has a good view of the Korean Folk Village Museum and Gyeokbokgung Palace.

You have to visit this place. There are so many little corners to explore and the old Hanok structures gave us a great old feeling vibe. It also feels very trendy here. Look out for the uphills and downhills.
