As with any hotel, the most important aspect is cleanliness. Dormy Inn perfectly met my expectations in this regard. The room is well-appointed, beautifully decorated in soothing Japanese tones, and includes roomwear. The hot springs bath was lovely. The late-evening spicy ramen was a nice touch. The cleaning staff is friendly, and the check-in staff, including the trainee, are fluent in Japanese and English. And the free shuttle to Myeongdong Station is very convenient.
· For the price, breakfast really should have been included, but it wasn’t. The free late-night ramen could have been swapped out for breakfast and I wouldn’t even have missed it. Also, and this is not the fault of the hotel, although Dormy Inn is nestled a 3-to 5- minute walk between two subway stations, both of these walks include moderate to steep hills. The area in general is very hilly, and due to an injury, I sure felt every step of those hills.More
