I stayed here from Sept 11 to 14, 2012, in a single private room.

The room is super clean. The private bathroom is clean as well. There's no foul odor smell at all. The room has two small tables so you can put your stuff out. The bed is also comfortable for me.

The common room is very clean as well. They had a lot of dishes and utensils. They have 4 washers and 1 dryer. I stayed at two other hostels in South Korea, this is the only hostel I stayed at with a dryer. The laundry powder is also free.

The staff is also very helpful with local directions.

The directions they provided from Incheon was clear and easy to follow. There are also a lot of restaurants near by that's walking distance.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Banana. If I return to Seoul in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

maybe the bed isn't as comfortable as one's bed at home, or the shower a lot smaller, but I really enjoyed being there. The people working there are great, really nice, and really helpfull. I met a lot of great people from all over the place during my 3 days there and the place just has a really good and comfortable vibe. It was really a joy to be there!

I spent three nights at Banana in the dorm room and had a very easy stay. Getting there from the airport on the bus was pretty straight forward and I was immediately welcomed at the desk. The other guests were also very friendly -- I was invited to share barbecue all three nights! There is a nice back porch/picnic table and three computers with free internet are in the common room as is a coffee/tea table. The six person dorm room was quite spacious and I could keep my valuable in a person locker. The bathroom, however, is a little cramped and tends to get soaked by the hand-held shower head in the corner. The location of this hostel really seals the deal. The immediate alleys aren't so nice, but the artsy neighborhood across the main street is excellent and the train station is extremely close. (Also, the candies by the front desk are quite tasty!!)
