I stayed here from Sept 11 to 14, 2012, in a single private room.

The room is super clean. The private bathroom is clean as well. There's no foul odor smell at all. The room has two small tables so you can put your stuff out. The bed is also comfortable for me.

The common room is very clean as well. They had a lot of dishes and utensils. They have 4 washers and 1 dryer. I stayed at two other hostels in South Korea, this is the only hostel I stayed at with a dryer. The laundry powder is also free.

The staff is also very helpful with local directions.

The directions they provided from Incheon was clear and easy to follow. There are also a lot of restaurants near by that's walking distance.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Banana. If I return to Seoul in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

maybe the bed isn't as comfortable as one's bed at home, or the shower a lot smaller, but I really enjoyed being there. The people working there are great, really nice, and really helpfull. I met a lot of great people from all over the place during my 3 days there and the place just has a really good and comfortable vibe. It was really a joy to be there!

I spent three nights at Banana in the dorm room and had a very easy stay. Getting there from the airport on the bus was pretty straight forward and I was immediately welcomed at the desk. The other guests were also very friendly -- I was invited to share barbecue all three nights! There is a nice back porch/picnic table and three computers with free internet are in the common room as is a coffee/tea table. The six person dorm room was quite spacious and I could keep my valuable in a person locker. The bathroom, however, is a little cramped and tends to get soaked by the hand-held shower head in the corner. The location of this hostel really seals the deal. The immediate alleys aren't so nice, but the artsy neighborhood across the main street is excellent and the train station is extremely close. (Also, the candies by the front desk are quite tasty!!)

Stayed with my friend for four weeks, divided into two interwalls. When we left the first time, we stored some of our luggage in a locker which only the staff had the key to, and picked it up three weeks later, when we came back. Very satisfied with both the staff and the other guests. Free coffee and tea. Well functioning computers and printers, and good internet connection if you bring your laptop. Water dispenser in the kitchen, together with fridge, freezer and all kinds of utensils. In the common area there is a television, and in the lockers in the reception area you can find shampoos, soaps, blow dryer etc. They also have a quiet back yard. Very easy to find, walking distance to both subway and airport bus. Lots of restaurants and coffe shops in the neighbourhood.

I warmly recommend this place!

Me and my friend stayed at Banana for about 1 1/2 months, we had a short break as we went to Jeju for three weeks and then we came back.
Banana treats you like a family member, and they are always very happy to assist you with whatever you need. They recommended restaurants, culture happenings, tourist attractions and lots lots more. I really couldn't be happier with their service and friendship!

Their location is in the middle of Insadong, not too far from anything but still a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. And from the moment you ring the bell and step into the Hostel, you feel such warmth and friendliness.
Loved their low prices pr room and their free tea/coffee.

I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone and everyone - no matter if you're travelling alone or brining your whole family (even with small kids)!
Like Banana say themselves "we bring you sweet dreams"

Kind regards
Elin
