service was super fast. if u order the best sellers... they're those in bug photos outside and in the menu. you pay as u order at the table.

the server immediately hands you a receipt and gives change.
with the nber of people coming in. my wife and I had to share the table with two ladies. who ordered the same.

utensils... stainless chopsticks and spoon are in the drawer tabe.. trash can just under the table... which im not used to.

a must try indeed when your in this area after quite some walking from all the shopping.

The place was packed, so we took that as a good sign, but they had to seat us with strangers as there was no other table. We picked from the small menu and were immediately asked to pay our bill. In less than a minute we had our meal set in front of us. The dumplings were good, nothing mind blowing though. As for the soup, the broth was good but the rest was pretty plain. Lots of plain white noodles, a little bit of mystery meat and some onions. This place is all about efficiency and moving customers through. This is OK if you need a quick meal, but there are much better restaurants that can be found just walking around myeong-dong.

Make sure to come here during off-hours (e.g. before 5pm, before 12pm), since this place gets packed during prime time. The restaurant only has 4 dishes - each priced at 8000 Won. You will have to pay right away when you order (they accept cash and credit cards) and within 5 min, you will get your order. We tried the regular hot noodles (comes with four dumplings and minced meat on top of the noodles) and the dumplings. Both items were delicious. The dumplings were one of the best we ever tried! The skin of dumplings was thin, filled with meat and herbs. If we'll get a chance to go back to Seoul, we'll definitely try it again. Their kim chi is free and is one of the spiciest we have tried.

This place seems like it would be a small restaurant in a busy shopping district, but once you walk in and go up flights of stairs and then are directed to more levels to eat it is a shock. We sat down and were given a menu that included English and had pictures and water. We had already decided what we were going to try before walking in, so were able to order immediately. We had the dumplings and their hot soup that is topped with dumplings and meat. Both were fantastic, but what made me the happiest was the kimchi they served - it had a very strong taste of garlic and was nice and spicy. I would definitely go back to this restaurant upon my return to Seoul.

Handmade noodles are amazing. I'm a fan of Tsujita in Los Angeles, and Myeongdong Kyoja might be better.
