I don't really get this place. I'm not quite sure if it's supposed to be an apartment or a hotel. It wasn't really good at being either. I guess I expected it to be a hotel, so I was surprised to find that it was a big spacious room with two beds and a fully equipped kitchen. There was a large fridge and freezer, a kettle, microwave, hob and oven. This was all very well, but I only needed a place to sleep and I didn't make use of any of these things.
Whilst it had these unnecessary items, it lacked items that I thought would be quite important regardless of whether it was trying to be an appartment or a hotel. For example, as a previous reviewer has mentioned, the bathrooms were very dated. Not only were the furnishings old, but there was no bath mat, no shower gels and no shower curtain! So everything got wet after a shower. Also, the instructions to switch on the hot water were not clear, as I got given a sheet of paper explaining how to use the boiler when I arrived. It didn't work and I had to ask separately for help the next day, and it turned out that we were not supposed to touch the boiler, but instead had to switch on a button by the door!
Nevertheless, the hotel is in a good location, with a 7/11 at the foot of the door and it is within a ten minute walking distance from the nearest subway station Yeoksam.
