“Good value for money.”
Reviewed March 13, 2014

My family and I visited Seoul in December and spent a few nights at Noble Hotel. The rooms were not that big, but were nice and well-equipped. The heated floor as well as toilet seat were definitely something interesting. It is only a mere 2 minutes walk to Changdeokgung Palace, which is one of the main attractions in Seoul, and within 5 minutes walk, there were many small local restaurants around, which made it really convenient.

Stayed here with my family for 3 nights. Definitely best location for sightseeing! It's very close to palaces, shrine, Hanok village, market and shopping district. Hotel is right across the Chang palace. There's a convenient store beside it and several restaurants in the area. To get there, take limousine bus from airport (KRW 10,000), get off at Chang Palace bus stop and look around. You'll be just a few steps from Noble Hotel. If you take the express train, get off at Anguk station, about 450 m away. It is cheaper, but less convenient. You'll be taking several flights of stairs with your baggage. Room has everything you need - complete toiletries, towels, refrigerator with complimentary water bottles, juice, coffee and tea, TV, computer set and good wi-fi connection. The room is quite small but adequate. Hotel offers a free self-service breakfast of bread, orange juice, coffee, tea and a choice of butter or strawberry jelly. Microwave oven and toaster are available. The staff at the reception were warm, friendly and accommodating. We arrived in the hotel past midnight. In the morning though it was 10:30 AM and way past the breakfast time (7:30 - 9:30), Mr. Lee still opened the dining area for us to have breakfast. The next day, we had to leave really early for a tour, so we requested to have an early breakfast and they again accommodated us. I definitely would love to stay here again!

I stayed there 3 nights in total during my stay in Seoul. The location is unbeatable if you want to do tourism in Seoul. Located in front of one of the palaces and 5-10 min walk from Insadong.

The hotel has nothing fancy but is perfectly clean with a proper service and a modern room. The bad point is for the size of the room. I got a semi double which was just enough to place inside a large bed and all the furnitures, but that was my choice and the normal double must be totally fine. Definitely a great value.

This hotel is a good place to stay if you are looking for a place to stay that is inexpensive but effective. It is old but clean. There were no windows in my room. But it had everything I needed, and a desktop computer. Drinking water was provided in the refrigerator. A pouch full of toiletries, including facial products, was provided in the bathroom. The wifi is decent.

One strange thing that happened was that I checked in and they gave me a room that had not yet been cleaned (which I discovered when I went up to it) but it was not a problem because I went back down and they gave me another room.

I needed to check out early but they allowed me to leave my stuff at the desk and come back for it later in the afternoon, which I appreciated.

The rooms are very small & beds very firm, but the hotel is clean & walking distance from the airport bus, so its a very good value hotel.

They do not include breakfast though even though it says it does when you book.

Our room smelled of smoke so we asked to be moved... It took about half an hour to explain due to the language barrier, but once they knew what we needed they were happy to oblige.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the same wing as the lobby. The rooms are furnished nicer and are slightly bigger...

The location is excellent. Airport bus stop located across the street, palace across the street. Close to most attraction. Most attractions are within walking distance; subway stations are very close if you prefer not to walk. Taxi is quite costly in Asia standard. Definitely take metro for traffic hours.

Nothing high end about this hotel. But it is clean, and full of amenities for the price. Hotel have another tower across with newly renovated rooms but the rooms in the main building are perfectly fine, except the bed is very hard even with Asia standard. WIFI signal is good.

We request extra blankets and there aren't any extra blankets or pillows. The lighting system is quite annoying; it automatic shuts off after you turn it on for awhile, especially bathroom lights. I can see it will be a problem for solo travelers because you do need to go outside of the bathroom to switch it back on. Hopefully it won't happen in the middle of your shower. I guess this is the way they save electricity. Other than that, everything is good.

Room Tip: Rooms with shower stall is in better condition.

It was minus 6C when we arrived so lovely to walk into a room with underfloor heating. At times it was too hot and we had to open the window for a while! The bedroom was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very high tech. The toilet had a panel that looked like mission control! It was great to have free wifi throughout the hotel.

The hotel was a little difficult to find at first but quite convenient for the metro station, airport bus and Gyeonghuigung Palace. The shop near the entrance to the hotel was useful for buying hot drinks or snacks.

I would stay here again. In fact we tried to do so on our return journey but it was already fully booked for the date we needed.
