A posh oasis with professional and courteous staff. Additionally, the owner and his wife are superbly gracious hosts with a deep understanding of the city and the country.

Betsy's is located just up the hill from the main drag in Tbilisi, so it's convenient yet a bit off the main drag. Stunning sunsets and city lights from one of the numerous balconies. Professional and top rate, yet warm and comforting.

It iseems to be the principal meeting place in town for expats to congregate and share drinks and laughter. If you want to meet someone or know what is going on in Tbilisi, Betsy's is the place to go.

I have stayed here several times in the winter when Tbilisi can be quite cold and bleak, and the fireplace in the bar always calls me back.

If you are around in the summer, they have a barbeque every Sunday evening for guests and visotors. All are welcome.

I also had the opportunity to enjoy a massage after the sauna and highly recommend this as well as the gym.

I keep coming back and truly appreciate the warmth that I feel from the owners, time and time again.

Thanks for all you do to make it a wonderful experience.

Betsy's manages to create a friendly guesthouse atmosphere in a proper hotel. Most of the other guests seemed to be serious travellers and international development workers, and we learned a great deal about Georgia as a result.

Though not a formal conceirge, the front desk was very helpful in arranging itineraries and navigating the city.

The bar on Friday nights attracts an eclectic assortment of travellers and is not to be missed.

Excellent service, view and location. Highly reccomended for those who want the comforts of a hotel without the expense and generic surroundings of one of the major chains.

I loved Betsy's. Only a short business stay, but left me wishing it had been longer. I would thoroughly recommend it, in case you feel like a change from bland-but-safe international hotel chains - but without having to sacrifice all the nice things in life.

Betsy's struck me as really homely and convivial but still bang up to the minute, and with all the useful facilities you actually need in a hotel.

Rates are very good value, $150 or thereabouts gets you a suite with separate living room and balcony, and masses of space. Free internet with ethernet cable, TV, fridge. Great views out the front, high on a hill looking down on Tbilisi. Great views out the back, up the hill to the TV tower.

Breakfast was great, and in the foyer there is a little hatch with a lady selling books and renting out DVD's. She also will fix you a coffee and a snack (proper coffee machine). Also a bar (apparently excellent) and there is a small pool out the front.

Good security, and the hotel will send its own car out for your inevitable middle of the night arrival at TBS.

It seems a shame to come to somewhere as charming as Georgia and stay in just another Marriott, so give this nice little hotel your support and help the local economy :-)

Spent two nights at this hotel for work. As metioned in the review before the hotel is high up a hill, which gives you lovely views, but is a bit off the main road if you are walking about at night time. A taxi would be required to get there as it is a fair climb up to the top from the town.

Breakfast was okay but nothing fancy and similar for the overall accomodation. Need to take shower gel etc as they didnt have any complimentary stuff. Had good selection of SAT tv channels.

Was an okay place to stay in a very much devleoping city holiday destination.

If your out take a note of the address in Georgian as not many taxi drivers understand English.
