When I've visited Tbilisi (before moving here) I always enjoyed staying at Betsy's. It's clean, modern, up-to-date with great facilities. Now that I am based here it is the place I recommend for colleagues and for meetings. They do a great job with conferences and everything is always exactly right. It's a joy doing business with them!

Room Tip: As for a room with a view of town to be sure you see the best of Tbilisi

the Betsy's hotel is a very nice surprise.
hotel very cosy with a very friendly staff.
the room is nice and if you ask for view on the city then it's amazing
i had a small balcony where I could stay and enjoy the view.
very clean hotel, bathroom well equiped.
the breakfast is very nice with different kind of food and you can ask for fresh scrambled eggs :)
only bad point is the thickness of the walls, my neighboors were "very active" and I could hear all details of their activity
except this point the overall is very good
Definitely a place to go

Betsy's Hotel is a wonderful, economic place to stay in Tbilisi. High on the side of the mountain, the views are spectacular but the walk up the hill is challenge even for the very fit. Thankfully, taxis are everywhere and it only costs a few laris to get just about anywhere in the city so we would hop a cab to take us up the hill.
I booked a single room that, to my pleasant surprise, was very large with a king sized bed, sitting area, modern, well equipped bathroom (no tub) with great shower and heated towel rack. I even had a balcony with a bit of a view. My room was on the main floor in the annex on the way to the restaurant so it could get noisy in the morning. But, as any traveler knows, ear plugs should always be in your travel bag in case of issues like this.
My travel companion booked a suite and it was in the penthouse with an enormous roof deck with spectacular views of the city. Too bad it was November and was gray and raw.
A great breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant and is included in the price. They make eggs to order and there is other hot and cold food.
Dinner is served in the restaurant at night and is buffet style, very reasonable in price, and very good. There is a bar with fireplace but we didn't take advantage but looks very cosy and warm. There is a pool as well but of course, it was too cold to use but looks very nice.
Massage is offered in the hotel and is done by a hale and hearty middle aged Georgian woman so if you are looking for a spa like massage, this may not be the best but it was inexpensive and the room was clean. There is a sauna on the premises as well a gym.
Overall, I was very happy with my choice to stay at Betsy's and my one complaint would be the hardness of the bed. It felt like sleeping on a box spring but the positives outweighed the negatives, by far.
Location is good and is just a few blocks, down a very steep hill, to Rustaveli Square and from there, it is a pleasant walk to the old town. Taxis are everywhere and easy to hail but taxi drivers likely won't speak English, nor will they know where to go so you should have a good idea of where you want to go so you can point them in the right direction. There are always taxis outside of the hotel for you to take advantage.

Room Tip: I'd suggest you choose a room that is not on the main floor off the corridor going to the restau...

Stayed at this hotel twice recently, and I would stay there again. The rooms are very nice, you have everything you need including free wifi with good connection. Try to avoid rooms at the first floor - it might be noisy due to location and these rooms don't have such a nice view over the city. Breakfast is ok, although not too diverse. If you don't feel like getting out for dinner, there is buffet dinner as well. On Fridays the hotel bar looks more like a pub, it is quite popular in the city for drinks. Hotel is very central and easy to find.

Stayed in the hotel in October 2012 and found it to be cozy, friendly and nicely located. Its high atop a hill overlooking the city, and the views at nighttime are spectacular. The staff was friendly, rooms are well appointed, and the breakfast was fine. The gym is small but with good equipment and all works well. Wireless internet works well, and there is a expat bar that seems to be packed on weekends. It's a 20 minute walk to the center of the city, but a nice walk weather permitting. Taxi's are readily available and are inexpensive. Managed to leave my iPhone behind in the room at checkout, and the staff found it, called me and had it returned to me---a great relief. For something a bit different in Tbilisi, this hotel is worth a try.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the new wing overlooking the city, and on one of the higher floors

I have been in this hotel during March when the weather inTebilisi wasa bit chili during nights, but rooms were very warm and pleasant they have almost all you need in the room, but bathroom is not very sufficient and needs some improvement, it's clean but small.
The hotel had a lovely restaurant for breakfast where you have a nice view of the city and big balcony, food is OK for breakfast and staff are kind and eager to help.
There was swimming pool outdoor but because of weather I didn't use it.
Hotel has a good meeting room well equipped.
The hotel is on the top of the hill in the city which make commuting a bit difficult specially if you want to walk,
But in general it's a good hotel for young couples and energetic people who live walking )

Stayed for a few days in this charming boutique hotel with stunning views over the city. Mix-up on my booking on arrival late in the evening despite e-mail confirmation which soured my first impressions. Was put into a temporary room for the first night and woken up early (after a tiring flight) with building work immediately under my window. Transferred to the new wing and a superb suite with separate sitting room and large terrace. Friendly staff and good food with pleasant terrace outside with lovely views. Despite being above the city access to the centre is only a 5-10 mins walk. If visiting Tbilisi again, I would stay at Betsy's. Ratings below are based on the suite to which I was moved.

Room Tip: Stay in the new wing which is away from the building works.
