“Ideally placed, very clean, a bit noisy”

More original and cheaper style than classic 5-stars. Good service, clean although small rooms, excellent situation to visit old town and nightlife. Quite noisy because of the road. Take their luxury cars to airport, cheaper and more reliable than taxis.

i stayed at this hotel for one night because the british house was full. i love the hotel design, which i think is very local culture. restaurant staff was just okay. not friendly. the room i stayed in was really small. the smallest room in a hotel i have ever slept in (even compared to a hotel in tokyo). so for such price i actually was expecting a bigger room. but the room has everything i need. comfy bed, even though a single bed. a free internet connection. clean bathroom. and hot water works. they dont provide complimentary drinking water inside the room, i am guessing because georgians drink tap water.

Much to my dissapointment, this facility has closed; not sure when and no explanation given. When asked why it still featured on the website, the response was that the website is under construction. A great shame; such amenities are very scarce in Tbiilsi and this was a way an otherwise very average hotel could market itself. I'm told the swimming pool still functions in summer, but I think I wuld check beforehand.

If the location suits, then the Ambassadori is OK for the price - given that all Tbilisi hotels are grossly over-priced.

Having little information as to where to stay during my trip to Tbilisi I picked the Ambassadori as it was reasonably priced and seemed to be in a great location. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms are clean and larger than I expected. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was included with the room charge. It is in a nice location right on the banks of the river on the edge of Old Town. There is an Irish/American bar right next door. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Ambasador came highly recommended to my colleagues at The Global Fund but after being charged more than $200/night for 4 nights in a windowless room and in a hotel under heavy construction, I cannot say that I was pleased with my 3-day stay last week. The hotel adminstration chose to disregard my complaint about the room and went so far as to charge me a full night following a 4am arrival. The owners have seemingly calculated that the hotel's heretofore positive image will permit them to get away with substandard customer service and unfriendly business practices.

Steer clear of this one!

I've stayed number of times here and i like the place.

Nice location, good service, pleasant staff.

Ventilation in some rooms might be an issue. But overall very good hotel.

I am still staying at the hotel, checking in on Jan 16th and I would already like to share my ideas with you.

When the assistants in the office informed me that the Marriott and Sheraton are unavailable for a 10 day stay in Tbilisi and they can only arrange a place for me in Ambasadori, I was a bit nervous as I never heard the name of the hotel.

Now, I can say that in case I will ever come back to Tbilisi, if there will be available room, my first choice will always be Ambasadori.

As a result of my business activities, I travel a lot, staying in many above average of 5 star hotels around the world.

Ambasadori is quite an enjoyable hotel among all I have ever stayed until now, taking the hospitality, sincereness and work discipline of the team working there.

Besides, the hotel is absolutely clean and neat.

I will be leaving Tbilisi in 4 days and Ambasadori is surely going to be one of the most "feeling at home" kind of hotels I have ever been.

I would sincerely advice anybody thinking of coming to Tbilisi to select this hotel and enjoy the city.
