“A "non-Hotel"”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Situated directly on Moedani Square, in a perfect central position, this hotel is a...non-hotel. No common spaces, no breakfast room, no hall or entrace, no service. When you cross the entrace door you find in front of you a very small table put under the stairs: this is the "reception". Officially they have six or seven rooms but I've the impression that they can use only the number 1 room close to the reception on the street level.. The room number one is a large room with two beds but the windows (five or six!!) are directly on the place in front of restaurants and souvenirs shop. For this reason is a very noisy room. The ensuite bathroom is separeted to the room from two doors and is not well manteined: wc not fixed at the floor, showers broked, wall dirty. Also the entrace door of the room was broked and there are very difficult to close it. The cleaning conditions of the room are not good and not ever you have hot water. In this "hotel" there's no normal breakfast: officially (they told me...) the particular breakfast start at...11.30 am in the restaurant (but I've not understand were be the restaurant...). So, I don't suggested this place to stay in Tbilisi.

We stayed in the hotel Morgan on our way back from Armenia. Actually we didn't expect that it would be quite cheap for the hotel in the centre of Tbilisi.
The hotel was newly renovated at the time we stayed there. There were still some paint marks on the floor.
At first the room was a bit hot and suffocating due to the closed window on the ceiling. But the receptionist immediately turned on the air condition and very soon opened the above window. There are better rooms than this one, but as we made a good bargain, got a room for a very reasonable price, we were satisfied. We were one of the firsts guests after the renovation.
For one night, two days, it was more than enough. The bed was great! Big and very, very comfortable. The room is really spacious and comfortable.
The room was pretty clean (only some marks of paint but we will forgive them as they had just finished refurbishing. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and very nice with a very nice, big shower tub.
They serve breakfast in the room, there is no dining room,.
Staff is really great! So nice, helpful, at your disposal. One guy is not excellent at English but he was trying hard to help us whatever we needed.
And the location is awesome! It cannot be more central!
The hotel doesn't have a soul or something special, traditional Georgian as some guesthouses have but we were satisfied there and we would recommend it. It is a hotel.
Great acommodation for money we paid!
