This is really a guest house or very small hotel. I think there are just 5 rooms. The best part was the people, personal, friendly and helpful. Thank you Keti and Mari. Second best was the clean well designed room. Third was the location. Right in the old part of town. This neighborhood is old and rundown but safe only a block or two from the Main Street down town and a 10 to 20 minute walk to the white collar upscale Marriott area. Next is breakfast. Served with pride and they will make you oatmeal or eggs how you like them cooked. The worst part is the dilapidated neighborhood if you can get past this, this place is a gem.

First impression was this is not a hotel, but a guesthouse.
But, it is a very lovely & small guesthouse it looks like it is being run by a family.
They serve delicious breakfast and yes value for money for a clean room with hot shower.
I especially love their bed linen and pillow :)
It is a bit hard to find, but when you get to know the place it is near some nice place in Tbilisi.
Will surely come back to this place :)

tucked in the streets of old Tbilisi, the location of this small hotel is conductive to seeing many of the sights on foot. the staff is very kind, but english speaking staff is only available for part of the day. the room I had was very clean, the shower was small but functional. during my six nights I had no problems with the plumbing or the air conditioning. on the negative side, finding the place is difficult at the beginning. I would advise that the location is downloaded before you start out. the room I had didn,t have a fridge nor a safe box.
on my last day I was offered a nice glass of home-made wine. even without that, the kindness of the staff will not be forgotten.

The hotel is located in the heart of Tbilisi - some 5-10 minutes walk to Rustaveli ave, Freedom square, Shardeni street, Europe square. Despite the central place, it is very quiet and no any noise will disturb your rest at night.
My room was quite tidy and comfortable.
One of the disadvantages was the absence of any shampoo in the bathroom, also there were no bathrobes and slippers there. Another big disadvantage is that no parking is available around - so if you arrive by car, you will have problems of finding a parking place nearby.
Breakfast was OK, on convenient time.
The staff was very kind and friendly.

Room Tip: if you are a smoker, choose the room with a balcony get good advice on directions before you arrive...

The staff is fantastic
Location, don’t let the area deceive you, the old city is all like this but the hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable, best value for money
Good breakfast
From all hotels we stayed in Georgia this was the best
I recommend it very much – people are very nice and generous – we arrived at 05:00 in the morning and since they had the room available they gave it to us with NO CHARGE!!
As a travel agent – I know what is good – and this is GOOD

Room Tip: No - we stayed in two rooms because we came back twice and they were both good!

A very small hotel on a very small street in the very atmospheric Old City of Tbilisi. A little hard to find at first, but a five minute walk straight down the street gets you to either the clock tower or to the main street of the old town (Lei...dze St.). Staff are very welcoming and a full breakfast is included. One room (#2?) has a balcony. Wifi in room a nice plus.

Room Tip: one room has a balcony

The Silver Hotel is a wonder spot to stay in Tbilisi - clean, safe, friendly staff, and a great location! The rooms are comfortable and quiet and the breakfast is really, really excellent. This place is a little akin to a homestay, in that it is run by a family who also lives there. Keti, the mother of the house, is a very friendly and accommodating individual and her daughter, Marika - who handles much of the business, is a delightful person who speak English fluently. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of old town. At $60-70/night, this place offers a very comfortable accommodations and a wonderful base from which to jump into all the attractions of Tbilisi!
