“Tree-lined Main Drag”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

Rustaveli Avenue is the most important street in Tbilisi. The museums are here, and all political demonstrations take place here, and create big traffic jams. Georgian vehicles do not stop for pedestrians, and there are only four underpasses. Walk the extra distance and use the underpass to cross the street.

“Lovely”

Reminds a bit Champs Elysée in Paris, green street with lots of shops and cafes. A bit noisy though and be careful when crossing the street as cars don't really stop..

“Simple example of Georgian culture”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

If you want to see old buildings, authentic atmosphere, and the real face of the city, this is the correct place. We really liked to walk around but there are lots of beggars on the streets, especialy in here and it's really disturbing. In the night, looks scary because of the beggars therefore I dont recommand to walk at nights.

Walking in this street made me feel very good. There were many nice sculptures in pavement.
Also there were a store in this avenue that produce wine and everyone can go there and drink and buy wine. We bought Semi-Sweet red wine. it was wonderful.
