In the Rustaveli Avenue, you can come across a very nice place where local artists exhibit and sell their hand made lovely paintings and various types of statues/jewellery. It can be a very nice souvenir for your friends or family members to buy those as symbol of the country you had visited.

This is the main street in Tbilisi connecting 2 main squares. Mix of past and present, full of shops

It could have been a beautiful avenue, with wonderful shops and monuments. But the city of Tbilisi must absolutely reduce vehicle pollution and speeding. This avenue is a major thoroughfare and I was completely intoxicated by very old and unmaintained vehicles by the thousands. Horrible.

Nearly every European city has its equivalent of the Champs Elysees, and this is the Tbilisi version. The street is lined with fine buildings that evoke a more prosperous era, along with the boutiques of Europe's best-known designers.
