we reached the Cathedral bit late in the evening. the surroundings are very 'neat' and well maintained - anyway, the church itself is quite new. when we left the church it was the sunset time... and it looked amazing !!! definitely recommended for good finish of sightseeing day

This cathedral is absolutely breathtaking. Be it day or night its beautiful and you have a fantastic view of the city from there. Wherever you may be in Tbilisi, you will always see the Cathedral - it is that magnificent.

One of the most beautiful religious buildings I have ever seen in my life – grand in its modesty, very spiritual, and offers a fantastic view of the city below. A must if you are interested in religion and especially Orthodox Christianity

I live about 8 minutes below the Cathedral and am lucky to come here many times. It is a beautiful place to visit especially at night when the Cathedral is all lit up. you are allowed to make photographs but you need flash or low light camera when inside the Church

Wherever you may be in Tbilisi, you will always see the Cathedral - it is that magnificent. The bell tower was as grand as the cathedral as well.
