The food here is typical Georgian cuisine but very well done. The smell of the freshly baked bread should whet all appetites. Good kachipura too. We chose to eat outside because of the heat and suffered from noise from nearby builders but hopefully this will improve over time.

What I remember most about this restaurant is the smell of bread baking! The oven is quite open so you can salivate while your order is cooking. I tried Megrulian Khachapuri (cheese inside and on top) with chicken shashlik and spicy Ajika sauce (which you can also order with hazelnuts). Restaurant has a sunny outlook by the river but there is a bit of construction going on outside- it was not noisy but it knid of spoiled an otherwise great view.

We came to celebrate an occasion and had a lovely time. The food was decent (though the bread not super fresh and the lobio was very plain), the ambiance was nice with live singing, good, fast service. The view certainly isn't great with trees blocking the river and construction going on outside. We weren't blown away, but it was a nice dinner.

"Puris sakhli" (a.k.a. "Bread House") is one of the "M-Group" restaurants with traditional Georgian cuisine. It's much more expensive than, let's say, "Shemoikhede Genatsvale" or even "Maspindzelo", but it's considered to be higher-level one too.

The food is good indeed. Normally, in the afternoon or early in the evening, when there aren't too many visitors, the service is fine and the food comes fast. But in the evenings (especially on the week-end) when the restaurant is almost packed with the people, the service can get TERRIBLE! The waiters are indeed busy - you can see them rushing and running, but still when you'd like to get their attention even for the simplest request (like - bringing extra napkins) they IGNORE you, simply avoiding to "see" you.
Upsetting. Can get irritating.

But this way or another, what you cannot take away from this restaurant - is the delicious bread they bake right there! Don't go there if you are on a diet - that bread will ruin it, you can't resist the temptation! :)

The restaurant has a take-away service. It has an outdoor seating which can be really pleasant, especially during hot summer evenings.

Recommendations (just to name a few):
Eggplants in a nut-sauce
Megrelian khachapuri
Beans with bacon in a clay pot
Shashlik (Chicken, veil, pork... all of it is good!)
Salmon in a caviar sauce (a bit expensive maybe, but delicious)
