“Our home at Tbilisi”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

Stayed at the Demi Hotel for a week-end holiday in early April. Demi is one of the best small hotels we ever stayed. You may not get the luxury of an international chain hotel at Demi. But the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great with plenty of yummy Georgian food.

More importantly you will get a warm welcome, and excellent service at Demi. Nana is the most charming hotel manager you can ever meet. She takes care of her guests personally; understand their needs and prepares an itinerary for them. We benefited very much from her tips about the city and we enjoyed her friendship.

We will definitely stay at Demi, the next time when we visit Tbilisi. We recommend it to any visitor in Tbilisi.

Room Tip: Room 4 and 7 have a little balcony with garden view

This small 7 room boutique hotel is situated convinentially in the center of Tbilisi, just around the high way into town.

Nana, personally takes care of her guests.

No task seems to be too small, you name it...they will get it.

Good sleeping in a very quite side street.

Rates are value for money in an already overpriced city lodging market.

I have stayed at the Demi every year for the past few years. Each time I have felt very welcome and at ease. You may not get the luxury of a city-centre hotel, but the rooms are comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts are great and the service from Nana and her staff is the best. I would recommend the Demi every time.

I visit Tbilisi about twice a year for a week or more and always stay at the Demi if i can. A family run boutique hotel (or at least one that feels like it's family run), it has a warmth and level of service that you do not get elsewhere. As a previous reviewer stated, the rooms are not luxurious and there is some noise that filters in from the stairway, but you meet interesting people, are asked if you want coffee or tea when you come in after a long day, and are offered delicious meals. The staff does all they can to meet your needs, if you but ask.

Stayed here with several friends for a good week. Although the rooms are not large or luxurious, they fill the bill. Particularly appreciated the balcony, micro fridge and comfortable bed. Meals are social, around a single table, making for interesting encounters and conversations. The included breakfast is varied and interesting. Dinners can be a welcome and usually delicious informal break from going out. And there is no end of personal service. Would definitely look forward to staying here again.

So friendly and warm, I have really been taken care of during my stay in Tbilisi. This is the place to stay if you enjoy unexpected meetings with interesting people from all over the world, during breakfast. Good food, very serviceminded staff, clean and good enough-rooms. This is also the place to stay if you want to live in the center but also need a quiet atmosphere to be able to sleep. At Demi I have been completely relaxed and had so many nice conversations with the owner and everyone else working and staying at this understandably popular hotel in Tbilisi. When in Georgia, don´t miss Demi.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a balcony and view - my favourite is number 4.

My name is Gennady Inozemtsev. My wife Tatyana and I, we are Moscovites, in company with two of our American relatives-friends stayed in Demi Hotel 10 days since October 8, 2013. We had specific purpose to find out any possible tracks of our common relatives, mother, grand mother, grand-grand mother, and grand-grand father of my wife. As well as our American relative was interested to find out any information of his grand-father who is a grand-grand father for my wife. All of them were born in Tbilisi. We applied a lot of efforts to resolve our searches. Nana, Hotel Owner and Chef Administrator, helped us very much and eagerly agreed to continue any possible searches through available state and local archives even after we leave. Alongside with above activity we spend some more days for visiting and seeing a number of very old churches and monasteries. And again the Demi people arranged proper transportation for us. Breakfasts were perfect. Dinners in the hotel, If we ordered it, were always tasty and fully corresponded to our orders for modest price. Staff was extremely friendly and warmly minded. To be short, I conducted the formula for Demi Hotel: More long you are staying, more perfect looks Demi to you!
