We have stayed for 2 nights and overall we did not feel that it was worth the price. We know that Yangon accommodation is expensive but you could probably get something better for a bit more.

The best part: friendly staff.

The hotel is quite new and that is what saves it now, but need to be more careful with cleanness.

Poor Breakfast with odd options, like peanut butter with cheese fried sandwich (very oily).

The only thing that got going for this hotel was the service standard of the staff. From the receptionist to the waiters, the doorman and the cleaners, everyone was friendly, helpful and eager to please. This level of service mitigated – to some extent – the downsides which were –

(a) Location – really, this was in a local residence area and not near any major attraction. The closest was St Mary’s Church which was about 10 minutes’ walk away. There were no restaurants or malls nearby, which meant that after the hotel kitchen closed at 5 pm, you would not have anywhere nearby to get your dinner.

(b) Noise - My room which was on level 7 was not sound-proof which meant that street level noise permeated into the room. Quite difficult to get a good sleep if you wanted one.

(c) The fridge in my room spurted a loud rattling noise every 5 minutes or so. I finally found the solution – unplug the fridge.

(d) Price – I paid US$170 for 2 nights (single room with breakfast). Not sure if it was worth it but this was Yangon where hotel prices are sky-rocketing. In retrospect, I might have been better off paying a bit more for another hotel elsewhere.

On the whole, I just found this stay rather depressing.

The staff here were very nice, friendly and attentive and really made our stay here memorable. The room itself was very spacious but not particularly cozy. It was clean though and met our needs. The breakfast was okay although a bit odd (they served us peanut butter and cheese sandwiches - not a combo we'd had before!); there was definitely enough food. The area that it is in was fairly convenient for visiting Yangon, but was a bit on the noisy side even though we were on one of the higher floors.

This little place is there to please.
The bedrooms are clean and in a unique floor plan.
The city is right outside so it's great to wake up to what the lady across the street might be selling fresh that day. Chicken? Bread? Whole fish? This is when you walk out from your room, outside, and into the lobby/dining area downstairs. It gets you in the mood to go go go!
It's cheap, located well and a very nice staff.
Enjoy!

It is a simple, basic and no frill hotel but it reinforce by its friendly, courteous and services excellent staff. The hotel is not located in the city center however it is very convenience to go anywhere as there was plenty of taxi around and the fare was very cheap. But due to the language problem it is best to ask the hotel provide you with the address in local language. Also a Cryber Cafe which could use to make international calls is only two minutes walk from the Hotel. It really offered great saving on the communication. Hence it is another plus point for the travellers to stay at this hotel.

Lovely clean and well placed hotel, we stayed here in a 4 bed room(to save costs) as Yangon is very expensive for hotel accomodation. Very clean, quite and staff were more than helpful.
The room was basic with good clean furniture, comfortable beds, nice linen and a very decent, albeit, limited choice breakfast, but different every day.
Lovely people, I would stay again if visiting Yangon.

Room Tip: There were rooms on the very top floor(there is a lift), that were more deluxe than ours.

Otherwise ok hotel. I was bitten during first night at 8th floor room. I have had bites earlier, so I know for sure that those bites were caused by bedbugs. I complained about bugs next morning and was just transferred to 6th floor room, were stayed 3 more nights without problems. Did not receive any compensation from hotel.
