“Well worth it!”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

A pleasant 3-hour ride around the suburbs of Yangon.
You really get to see the city and its surrounds and everyday life as you travel along on this slow train ride.

“A great experience, one not to be missed.”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

A real look into the life of the Mayanmar people in and around Yangon. The process of obtaining the ticket at a smaller Railway station was a special event in itself, you will need passports and 1 USD per person.

“So cool.”

If you look for adventure and you do not want to go to Afganistan or some place scary? Take the A-train around Yangon instead! Bumpy and mice running around on the floor. Powerfailure will driving.
Amazing!

“slow, hot, interesting”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

the title says it all. It takes a long time to complete the circle, the seats are not very comfortable, it is very hot (in July anyway), but you see loads of interesting people and things on the way. Take some food, as it is not easy buying things on the go, contrary to what I expected.

“A Bird's-Eye View of Yangon's extended community”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

At first, I was thinking that a circular train did not make sense. I had some extra time on my hands, so I took it. Wow, what a wonderful trip. The train does drive in a circular route. This is designed to traverse the many little outlying towns and villages so the people can bring in their goods to/and from the city. There is no better way to view the life of the people if the farming villages. Nice way to see the sights.
