Visits Yangon for business opportunity. As a first timer in the middle of unknown town, you really wish to have someone to tell you where to go and what to do.

The staff are really friendly. Giving so much important do's and don't in the town.

My room is clean and they have nice buffet breakfast.

A recommended hotel if you are in business trip, and a family trip that have extra budget for pricey hotel.

Stayed a month and every day the room was cleaned perfectly, the laundry ironed and returned and the staff friendly and courteous. Avoid the rolls at the breakfast bar. How they seem to be stale everyday is a bit of a mystery. Allow the staff the prepare a traditional fish ball soup for you instead. It's a high protein satisfying substitute for the fattier American breakfast.

The service was very good from all that I encountered. It is located close enough to the main shopping areas and the two main tourist sites-the temple and the market place. The facilities are all well maintained-gym , pool and tennis court, (though I wonder how you get to the pool whilst someone is playing tennis!)
The internet was superb on first 2 days but was frustrating on the last day-though I think that that is common-place in Myanmar!
I did not eat at the hotel as it just seemed very pricey to what I could get outside.
There were renovations going on-which meant that there was alot of noise but this was just during the working hours, thankfully.
So, I would recommend it.

Services are great. All staff are attentive to your requests and always willing to help without a need to ask for it despite it being a very busy at most of the time.

Rooms are nice and clean, but in-room amenities could be better.

I've stayed here a couple of times now and each time, the experience gets better. It's position is close enough to downtown to be walkable( depending on the weather) but it avoids the one way traffic snarl up which you get as you exit Traders ( the nearby 5-star option) which puts an extra 20 minutes on your journey. The new entrance is smart, the Spice brasserie is modern and a good breakfast/coffee shop option, although service at lunch time can be slow. The swimming pool,is ok but only gets sun in the morning. The club level isn't anywhere as good as Traders but it has a homeliness about it which is endearing.
