This place is buzzing .... we went during lunch as it was recommended by our tour guide.

The place was very very busy ... people everywhere but it was nice great atmosphere. Tasty local dishes at a cheap price ... might be a bit more than other local eatery but well worth it.

We did not know what to order so just left it to our guide to order for us ... just gave him a bit of the steer to what we wanted to eat ... the curries, salads and the vegetables chili dip ... all were pretty good and tasty.

We wanted to try more and all the local desserts but unfortunately we were too full. If we were to be here for longer then I would definitely go back for more local tasting.

If you want to try out local food in a decent setting then this place should be on your list ... be prepared though as the place can get very crowded especially lunch time.

Feel Restaurant is a good place to have an affordable and tasty meal. Its crowded with hungry lunch time diners. A popular spot in a city with many dining options available.

This place specialises in traditional Burmese dishes and I had a good time trying out the wide range of curries. I found some of them a bit oily though and not super-inspiring and much preferred the Minn Lan seafood restaurants in the capital which really do churn out world-class food. Feel Myanmar's a good place to try the local staples, and it's good value too, but hard to get too excited about.

A local friend took me this place for lunch. Mohinga which is Myanmer's favorite soup for breakfast was really good here. The soup is made from a fish broth, but no fishy smell. Great value and you can mingle with a large crowd of Burmese people. It's simply a great place to eat Burmese food.
There are more than several locations including one at 115miles rest area on Yangon/mandalay highway.

Nothing like seeing the real thing when you order food rather than guessing from a description on the menu. The closest description if you are from Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia to describe the experience is this is similar to Padang food. Lots of variety and rendangs. Having a local take us helps as there are various salads and vegetable dishes that are quite outstanding. I am a big meat eater but found the vegetable dishes better than the meat dishes. As the servings are small, indulge and order more than you think you can eat. Don't forget to order the desserts and finish with milk tea(less sugar) and wash down all you ate with plain tea (no sugar) that they roast the tea leaves before brewing. Very fragrant and refreshing.
