I loved my stay in Winner’s Inn: the rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable, exactly as pictured in the photos! The staff are absolutely lovely as well, ready to greet you with a friendly smile and attend to any requests. Breakfast was delicious with a different local delicacy featured every day: during my stay, I enjoyed sumptuous curry noodles and rich, tasty mohinga, which are excellent to start the day with. Location wise, it is walking distance to U Thant’s house, and a few honest-to-goodness eateries like Sharky’s (opened by Masterchef judge U Sharky; don’t miss their gelato) and Aung Thukha (authentic Burmese mix-and-match dishes served with rice). You could either walk or take a very quick taxi ride to Shwedagon Pagoda or Inya Lake. Because it’s further north, you are spared from the traffic and horn-blaring from downtown.

Overall, it’s a great place to retreat to at the end of a long day: before I left, the staff kindly offered towels and toiletries to freshen up at the gymroom shower (perfect after a hot morning walking tour of Yangon), even though I have already checked out.

You will be well taken care of here, and will definitely get your value for money at Winner’s Inn with their excellent service and comfortable facilities.

A stay@Winner Inn is an absolutely fantastic experience and I love the place, no matter how many times - and how many days each time - I spend there. Everything about the hotel is nice but the staff, without exception, make it an absolute joy to be staying there.

Room tip: All rooms are pleasant, but some rooms - farther from the wifi router - might have problems while staying connected to internet.

Have been staying at this lovely welcoming family run hotel for nearly two weeks.
ALL the staff and management are friendly, efficient and very caring... they want your stay to be perfect and do whatever it takes to ensure this... nothing is too much trouble.
My husband celebrated his birthday and three of the team delivered a local handmade gift and a gorgeous birthday cake to our room - AND sang happy birthday! Such a nice touch.
It is in the leafy embassy residential area of midtown Yangon so quieter than downtown.
Breakfast is excellent with lots of options.
Our room is roomy and clean. Modern bathrooms and quiet aircon. You can open the windows for fresh air as well.
Winner Inn is well placed for a leisurely 15 minute walk to the must-see Shwedagon Pagoda.
Someone is always on hand to help with requests like getting taxis Which are cheap - so it easy to get to airport and downtown. Although traffic can be terrible... wherever you are!
There are a few and cafes and shops Voldemort by with nice eating options at Sharkies (yummy gelato, pizza and salads), Wai Wai (local rooftop restaurant), Savoy Hotel (upmarket and exy but good for a coffee break) as well as the Winner Inn hotel restaurant which serves fresh Myanmar and international dishes.
Highly recommended if you want a safe well-priced friendly haven in Yangon.
Thank you to all the Winner Inn team... we’ll be back!

I recently stayed at the Winner Inn for 3 weeks and could not have asked for a more welcoming and homely hotel. The staff were all absolutely lovely, the room was always clean and topped up with fresh tea and coffee supplies, and the building itself is just a nice place to be - a charming oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Yangon. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely stay Winner Inn :)
