“Excelent all round”

Stayed here in May 2014 with the whole family myself , wife, son 23, daughter 25 and her partner. We spent two and a half weeks in Vanuatu coming and going from Port Vila each time returning to the Pacific Apartments. No use looking for anything better, clean, well furnished, spacious and excellent value. The staff where very helpful, friendly and more than accommodating with our comings and goings. The location is 4Km from town sitting across the lagoon from Erakor Island. Town is still easily accessible by bus cost AD$1.50 per person each way. The outer reef has excellent snorkelling (swell permitting) which you can reach with the kayaks at the apartments. A short bus ride down the road is Pango point where there are some excellent restaurants (Stone grill , Breakkas, ask the staff for more). In Port Vila try the Japanese Restaurant Kanpai. If you want to take any tours I would suggest using Island Holiday Tours and Big Blue for diving. We definetely recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Lagoon Apartments have excellent views.

Clean, neat well maintained apartments and property. Staff all very helpful. Our children took a shine to Patricia who looked after them on a couple of occasions. Chris the manager welcoming and always had time for a chat. It was lovely to come back to a clean, fresh apartment after the day's exploring. We stayed in lagoon view apartments and enjoyed looking out to watch the locals going about their daily business, particularly on low tide. We made use of the kayaks available from the hotel, and paddled to the little reef where the water is crystal clear and you can see the coral, star fish and fish without getting wet. Vanuatu is a beautiful place, we will be back and we will be staying at Pacific Lagoon Apartments again.

Our family of 4 spent one week at Pacific Lagoon late May. The apartment was lovely and clean, and the lagoon view was worth the bit extra. We felt like we were the only one's there at times: this is not a big, busy resort. The location is great, very accessible to Port Vila by the buses that run along the main road constantly. It was the accessibilty to the surf that we chose Pacific Lagoon. Our son surfed every day with the local boys at Pango, just a short 20 minute walk down the road. We used the kayaks to explore the lagoon on high tide, and also swam across to Erakor Island (beware the fast run out tide). I highly recommend the Erakor Island Melanesian night on thursdays. It was good value going across on the boat and enjoying a beautiful feast, with music, kastom dancing and fire show!!

Room Tip: Lagoon view worth the extra money!

We (Gabrielle Cayte and I) work hard and needed some R&R. Gabe found Pacific Lagoon through online searches and followed up with Trip Advisor. High fives to Gabe because we found the perfect apartment for us. No Tom, Dick or Harry! Helpful and friendly manager (Chris), terrific staff (including mr security lol), ideal lagoon-fronted apartment! Yep we found paradise. Inexpensive bus (or taxi) into Port (a couple of kms away) where we bought our daily fruit and veg from the markets and did our 'girl shopping', had lunch and wandered through the mummas markets or along the sea front. We met a great extended family group there and caught up with them at days end to compare activities. Gabe has already rebooked for next year (this time with her boy partner!). I'm organizing another girls-only week. Highly recommended for friends, families or couples.

It's surprisingly very a very nice place. The rooms are comfortable, and everything inside the apartments is perfect. The location is very good, and the possibility to take kayaks for free is really nice.
The pool is maybe a bit small but then again adequate enough for a few splashes. Maryann the landlady is really cool and super helpful. She gets 10 points

Just one small point that could be improved especially in the next renovation and that is the BBQ grill. That poor thing is really old, could use an extreme makeover.
However, all in all, Really cozy feel and would happily recommend to anyone.

Our family stayed here in April for 7 nights.
It was the perfect stay for us. The gardens were lush & very well maintained. Large grass areas for kids to run around The pool area and undercover area is a nice place to chill after being out all day. Other families had the same idea, as it was a meeting point of an afternoon and a great way for kids & adults to meet others & have a chat about their day.

The units were cleaned everyday. The showers had good water pressure, with a drying area to hang wet togs etc...There is a washing machine which is available to use for a small fee. The dryer isn't necessary unless it is raining as there is a clothes line available. I accidently left my I-pad in the laundry shed, & one of the cleaning ladies came looking for me to give it back to me. All the staff were great & very accommodating. Easy to catch bus into town, & good car parking area if you have a hire car. We will definetly come back again & stay here.

We stayed for one week and had the most awesome and relaxing time. The apartment was very well set out and had every thing we needed. We had a lagoon view - and spent most afternoons just sitting on our balcony enjoying the water views-and wine and cheese! the manger - Chris- was very helpful and the staff all happy and friendly. What we liked the best was how peaceful the Resort was - whilst about 5 Km out of town - we were away from all the noise and busy streets and cars. It was very easy to get a bus to and from the Resort - and also fun chatting with the local drivers and passengers.
I have already booked it again for next year - this time 10 days!

We were three good friends- left the boys at home - just wanted to escape and have a relaxing time - we just loved this resort and Vanuatu!
