nce own and manage the resort and are always around professional, friendly and really interested in you and your comfort and ensuring your time with them and on the island is all you want it to be. The staff are just stunning all locals benjamin, johnny the chiefs, kathleen and the waitresses and the ladies who service your bungalow daily are all so amazingly friendly and helpful, they became a real highlight for us.We had an amazing time all too short! Go there you will not want to leave!,

This place needs a huge revamp and thought the owners are wonderful people, I couldn't recommend staying here until they spend some $$ getting it up to par for the price. Rooms have termites and no air con which is needed during the hot months. We had to keep our doors open for air circulation at night which resulted in zero privacy! In the morning I noticed bugs dead all over the bathroom which I later found out were termites that the owners confessed as their first thing to fix. The pool is so small, more like a little dip pool. The bar/resturant does not stay open late and is way overpriced. The snorkeling is pretty decent. The staff are wonderful Vanuatu people and the owners really are so sweet and very friendly. I do hope they get this place turned around but if I wanted to go tropical camping I sure wouldn't spend over $200 a night! I hope I save someone from a disappointing holiday.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else, especially if you're a couple!

Dear Coopertino41, since your visit last December, a lot has been done and this is probably why your review is at odd with recent guests' feedbacks. As you confessed, Paradise Cove Resort was a default choice as all the adult only resorts were fully booked. I am afraid you made a mistake as we don't have night public bar or live music, no TV or minibars in the bungalows. I suppose this is why you compare Paradise Cove Resort to a “tropical camping”. Now let me clarify a few points:
We managed to get rid of the wood borers. The entire resort was treated last February, 3 months after we took over, one month after your visit.
The privacy is provided by the large tropical garden (2.5 acres) where the ten bungalows are spread. Our guests appreciate the fresh air provided by the large French windows, high ceiling and fans in our 50m2 bungalows. We are lucky enough to have no mosquitoes on this stretch of coast.
The restaurant takes orders up to 8pm and closes when our guests have finished their dinner (10 or 11pm is not unusual). Light lunch is on average less than VUV 1.500 and evening meal less than VUV 3.000 beverages excluded. Room service is available during opening hours.
The sea water swimming pool which overlooks the beach is 12m x 5m x 1.8m. The 50m private beach soon to be extended to 75m is usually what our guests are after.
Finally, since you wrote in the resort feedback form that you “both had a great time overall”, we thought you started to appreciate the peaceful, relax and friendly atmosphere of this place. Obviously, we were wrong.

Loved it, loved it, loved it… only stayed 3 nights but it was a highlight for us.
Wonderful location and beautiful gardens are a good start but then the staff (thanks Benjamin, Jerony, Jane, Jonny and Wendy!), food, room and snorkeling made it very special - as did getting to know Marc and Constance.

Dinner on the jetty is a must!

Paradise cove resort was quirky, relaxed, small and fun. You could spend time just reading and recuperating, paddle the canoes, snorkel over the reef or just sit around on the banana lounges and think. Come 5:00 when the bongo drums called everyone to happy hour, we all socialised and met other holiday makers as well as Marc and Constance our hosts. all the staff were fantastic and the evening meals were very tasty. Jane gave a great massage and Ben was very helpful with organising our trips outside the resort. The huts were set in lovely gardens and we stayed in the old managers rooms in the treetops. these were very comfortable and the bathrooms and room decor were interesting , quirky and restful and it was mostly quiet. Marc and Constance are always approachable and helped us when our airline changed our times the day we were leaving. I would recommend this resort to anyone ( families friends or couples) who like secluded, relaxed and casual holidays where the food is excellent and you can be guaranteed a great time.

Owners Marc and Constance went out of their way to help us when we were delayed due to bad weather in Wellington, they moved our booking and there were no penalties!
The resort was exactly as we expected, quiet, peaceful and on the beach. the owners were always available and keen to be in contact with their guests.
The restaurant was excellent, with good food and greatly accommodating of a Celiacs dietry requirements. The tropical fish were just off the jetty, all you need was a snorkel and mask (provided free by the resort), being neither confident swimmers or young we found it easy to view the underwater world. The owners are working hard to upgrade the facilities and have performed wonders in the short time they have been there. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends.

Owners Marc and Constance and their delightful staff could not have made us feel more welcome and nor done more for us to make our stay more enjoyable. To us, the facilities at Paradise Cove were a perfect blend of low key, beautifully maintained comfort with accommodation comprising of lovely little thatched bungalows, set in magnificent surroundings (terraced garden, leading down to beach). We absolutely loved the central ‘hut’ with adjacent pool, which proved to be a real hub of eating and drinking, game playing and socialising. It is also Wi-Fi enabled so although you didn’t have TV (which I was grateful for), you did not feel in any way disconnected from the world. There are only 10 villas and the resort was small enough to feel intimate but large enough (including more intimate dining hut down on the water’s edge) that we didn’t feel that the kids overran the joint. I do hope other guests felt the same ...

With 3 kids in tow, we are normally very active on holidays but for the first time ever on a holiday, we spent the vast majority of our time relaxing at the resort. There was plenty to do to keep the kids occupied with all the swimming (pool alongside central hut, where we would sit reading while they swam), snorkelling, kayaking and terrorising the local hermit crab population. Luckily for us, Marc and Constance’s 2 boys were also on school holidays, so our kids had a ball playing with them and can’t wait to see them again.

We love our food and felt that the food there was excellent; fresh and innovative and better (we felt) than anything that could be found in any of the other establishments. There seemed no point venturing far when you had your own little bit of paradise right there.
Marc even arranged for us to have a beautiful child free dinner, set up at the end of the jetty, complete with floral arrangements and lanterns to set the mood!

My only concern is that I have raved about it so much to all my friends that we will have trouble securing accommodation for same time next year!

Room Tip: We had a bungalow that was just behind the main hut - still quiet and perfect for darting back to ge...
