We stayed here for three nights in their Port Vila Room. Loved having the full width doors to open in the morning. Free use of kayaks and paddleboards was very good. The staff were always very friendly, and very happy to sort out any excursion requests we had. Breakfast by the pool featuring fruit picked from their own trees, local coffee and excellent freshly baked bread was very welcome. Within easy walking distance of the town centre. Excellent few days

We have just spent a week here at Fatumaru Lodge and, having been to Vanuatu many times before, feel we know many of the resorts from previous visits. This was for us, by far the best. It's a great location, walking distance to town, which is very pleasant at this time of the year as it's not too hot or humid. We thought the beachfront units where we stayed, were just delightful and very well equipped with ample cooking facilities which is something we like to make use of because of the lovely fresh fish and great meat ,fruit and veg available locally.Small attention to detail like providing a plunger coffee pot AND real coffee was an unexpected pleasure. Sitting on our deck looking at Port Vila Harbour was very relaxing. Using the kayaks every day to paddle towards town was great fun and swimming which was a few steps from our deck were two of the reasons why this lovely spot is so appealing. Emily and her team are all lovely and very welcoming. For value for money,it was unbeatable.Thank you .We shall definitely return!

Room Tip: Erromango was recommended by another contributor to Trip Advisor and we would recommend it too, as it is on the ground floor with no rail on the deck....just perfect!

Fatumaru Lodge was a great spot for a relaxing girls getaway in Port Vila. The amazingly friendly staff were always willing to help and made us feel at home. We had one of the two bedroom apartments (the Port Vila Room) which was perfect for us – a queen size bed in the front room and two singles in the back room. These rooms are nearer the back of the property so there was some road noise, which could disturb a light sleeper and there was also a bit of noise from our neighbours in the other apartment with their young children, however neither would stop me from staying there again. Our room had a kitchen area and table and chairs out on the patio at the front which was great for al fresco dinning and a few drinks at the end of the day, especially on the warm nights. The bathroom and kitchen were fully functional and tidy, but the bathroom and the floors throughout could have used a really thorough clean. It was great having the use of the kayaks and paddle board and we did a bit of exploring out in the bay in front of the lodge which was very calm during our stay. The pool and grounds were also wonderfully well maintained. It was nice to get back to the peace and quiet of Fatumaru Lodge at the end of the day and was quite a contrast to some of the very busy resorts that we visited on our stay. I’d definitely recommend Fatumaru Lodge to everyone as a great place to stay.

Could not fault these guys at all! Emily and Isaac were amazing hosts/gardner and the rooms with sea font view were the best I've had in my travels. Value for money - perfect! 10 minute walk to own was easy, smooth and quite nice.
Recommended over and over!!

Fatumara Lodge is very clean & tidy but the rooms are in need of a paint job, and also the shower room needs up-dating, we stayed in the Santos Room,....views over the water, nice to hear the water lapping on the shore at night whilst you are tucked up in bed,.....but I would have thought that the Breakfast ( $12 ) would have been included in the price of the room, but there again Vanuatu is not the cheapest place to holiday in, This is my 3rd time to Vanuatu and my last as it gets dearer & dearer, its cheaper to holiday back home (Australia ) or in Thailand or Vietnam, the latter being my favourite,....getting into Town,Port Vila will take you 15 mins by Bus (People Movers ) and will cost you 150 Vatu p.p. the only cheap item you will come across, there is a small Super Market 200 meters to the right of the Lodge entrance and a good Chinese Restaurant (Harbour View ) 5 mins walk from the Lodge, change you money at Goodies in Town you will get a really good rate......over all the Lodge is quite good, staff helpful and friendly, rooms are clean, good A/C plenty of Hot Water when showering, but still well over priced for a 3 star Property

Room Tip: We stayed in the Santos Room, right on the shore
